"I'm just glad you made it back. That encounter could've ended much worse." When you sent the messenger crow to the Hokage, you'd also sent one to Kurenei. You weren't sure if that would've been your last battle or not. "Yeah, I made it back that's all that matters."

She sighed softly going to your refrigerator. "So I was thinking...let's go to the hot springs." Your eyes lit up at her words.

"I like the way you think." You winked at her going to your room to get ready.

After a few hours at the hot springs, we decided to wrap things up. "There's that new BBQ place in town, do you want to stop by?" You both exited the water going into your stalls to get dressed. "Sure I can eat."

"I needed this." You sigh in relief as you stuff your face with food. "Whew! Me too after last-" A hand covered her mouth. Your eyes widened and you pointed an accusing finger at her like a child.

"Finish that sentence!" You exclaimed slamming a hand on the table in shock. Her face grew red and you laughed at her. "I knew you two finally would! Sooo when am I getting a niece or nephew-" You teased raising your brows suggestively.

"Y/n!" She shouted pushing your face that leaned over the table. "What? I'm serious!" You laughed loudly shooing her away.

"Did you hear that?" Kakashi asked Asuma and Guy. "Yeah, I did." The two of them stopped chewing listening to the booth two booths away from them.

"I'm serious y/n!" Kurenei whined. "I'm just saying it how it is." You laughed as she hid her face behind her hands.

"Just admit it. You're in love~" You sang and she flipped you off. "Oh like you and Kak-"

"Don't you dare." You pointed and she grabbed your finger. "Tell me you two didn't do anything." She crossed her arms and you stayed silent turning your head away.

"I knew it!" She loudly said and you sunk into the booth. Maybe if I killed myself now... "So when are MY nieces and nephews-"

"Oh stop, I'm pretty sure he doesn't even want kids. To be honest I'm not sure if I'm ready for that either. Especially after what happened to the last baby..." You sighed sitting up and grabbing more food.

"It's not your fault y/n. You didn't know you were pregnant." You groaned loudly massaging your eyebrows. "Don't beat yourself up about it." She reminded.

Yes, when you and Kakashi were together, you had somehow gotten pregnant. You were sent on a mission and lost it. The only one who knows is Lady Tsunade.

She felt bad about the whole situation. It's not like you were too beat up about it because you didn't even know it was there.

When she asked about the father, you told her it was just some hookup but even she didn't buy it. She didn't ask anything else about it though and doesn't use it against you since you never let it interfere with your job.

In the section over, Kakashi was staring at the ground with an emotion he couldn't decipher. "Y/n had a miscarriage?" Guy asked quietly in disbelief.

Asuma glanced at Kakashi but didn't say a word, only patting his shoulder.
