Y/N sat on the couch in the living room, her eyes fixed on the iPad as she scrolled through, reading intently. Her expression was sharp, focused, undisturbed by her surroundings. The quiet tapping of her fingers against the screen was interrupted by the sound of approaching footsteps, but she didn't bother to look up.

"Well, well, the official bitch of the house has returned, huh?" came a familiar, arrogant voice, one Y/N hadn't heard in years.

Casually, Y/N looked up, her gaze landing on Luna, who stood before her in a black, tight-fitting dress that barely covered her thighs. Minhyuk stood next to her, a leather jacket draped over his casual shirt and pants. The two of them reeked of arrogance, the scent of alcohol lingering in the air, clearly just back from some club.

Y/N stood up, a confident smile playing on her lips.

"What a great way to greet your sister after such a long time," she said casually, her voice steady as she locked eyes with Luna.

Luna let out a mocking laugh, her head tilting back as if Y/N had said the funniest thing in the world.

"Sister? Oh, right," she sneered, her tone dripping with sarcasm. "You mean that 'sister' who was thrown out of this house with her disgrace of a mother?" She gasped dramatically, turning to Minhyuk.

"Look, Hyuk, the shameless one returned!" she mocked, though Minhyuk remained unbothered, his cold eyes fixed on Y/N as he leaned against the doorframe.

Y/N's eyes flickered with a brief flash of anger, but she kept her composure, standing tall.

"Shameless? I think that title suits you better, Luna. After all, I'm not the one who spent years hiding behind our father's money, pretending to have it all together." Her voice was calm, but the bite in her words was unmistakable.

Luna's eyes narrowed, her lips curling into a snarl.

"Oh, please. Don't act like you're better than me, Y/N. You think coming back here makes you something special? You're still the same pathetic girl who was tossed out with nothing, just like your whore of a mother."

Y/N's fists clenched at her sides, but she refused to give Luna the satisfaction of seeing her rattled.

"You must be mistaken. The only pathetic thing here is how you still need to insult others to feel powerful. But I suppose that's all you have going for you, isn't it, Luna?" she shot back, her words cutting through the tension like a blade.

Minhyuk finally spoke, his voice low and disinterested.

"What are you even doing here, Y/N?" His gaze was as cold as ever, and though he hadn't uttered an insult, his tone was enough to make his disdain clear.

Y/N's eyes shifted to him, her smile unwavering.

"I'm exactly where I belong, Hyuk. Unlike some people who can't seem to find their purpose beyond the nightlife."

Luna scoffed, taking a step closer, her heels clicking against the floor.

"You don't belong here. You never did, and you never will. This house? This family? It's ours. You're just an outsider who forced her way back in."

Y/N met Luna's gaze head-on, unflinching.

"You're right. I was forced out. But I'm not here to be accepted by you or anyone else. I'm here to take what's mine, whether you like it or not."

Luna's smirk faltered for a second, but she quickly recovered, her eyes burning with contempt.

"We'll see about that," she hissed. "You think you can just waltz back in and everything will be handed to you? You've always been delusional."
