The employee nervously tried to reach Taehyung by phone, but Taehyung didn't notice the call, so the worker hurried over to his office.
Jimin was back in his office while Taehyung leaned back in his chair, eyes shut, lost in thoughts about Lia.
The door burst open, and the employee hurried inside. The loud sound startled Taehyung awake. "Sir, Sir, the engineers can't get the elevator to work, and Ms. Lia is... over there..."
Damn it! Taehyung bolted from his desk, storming out of his office like a whirlwind, his frustration boiling over as he raced toward the miraculously operational elevator.
He shouted at the top of his lungs, his voice echoing through the hall. "Which floor is she trapped on? Answer me!
The employee stuttered, feeling Taehyung's anger, "I think she's on the 11th floor." Taehyung, seething, pounded the elevator button over and over, but it seemed to take forever for the elevator to finally arrive.
"I'm going to take you all down!" he yelled, his voice reverberating through the hallway. "Get that maintenance guy to the eleventh floor, now!" With fierce determination shining in his eyes, he rushed toward the stairs, each step driven by urgency and a touch of madness.
Lia's body lay motionless, her strength slowly ebbing away. In her mind's eye, she imagined her mother and hoped to be saved from this nightmare by her.
The thought of her mother's comforting embrace made her feel as safe and protected as she had thought as a child. With each passing moment, Lia seemed to be losing the will to fight, her body becoming weaker and weaker.
She yearned more than ever for her mother's warmth and care.
In a hurry, Taehyung raced the stairs to the 11th floor. Along the way, he inadvertently bumped into an employee carrying documents, scattering the papers from his hands onto the floor.
"Without paying attention or looking backward, Taehyung sprinted towards the elevator.
The employee was completely surprised by his behavior and hastily knelt down to gather the fallen papers, his face displaying both shock and bafflement."
Maintenance workers were gathered in front of the elevator, futilely attempting to pry it open. Taehyung arrived, gasping for air and visibly impatient. He yelled loudly, "Hurry! open it!"
As soon as the elevator doors slid open, Taehyung rushed inside and was met with the sight of Lia's motionless body.
He quickly dropped to the floor and lifted her head gently with his hands. With growing concern, he pleaded urgently, "Hey, wake up! Open your eyes!"
Taehyung noticed beads of sweat on Lia's forehead and immediately took her hand to check her pulse. Realizing the situation's urgency, he swiftly lifted her into his arms and hurriedly exited the elevator.
Lia dangled limply in Taehyung's embrace, her head hanging down lifelessly and her arms motionless as if devoid of life.
Taehyung stormed out of the company building, carrying Lia in his arms, and yelled authoritatively to the employee, "Fucking Idiot! Tell the car to come right now!"
