After 5900 long years of being bullied relentlessly by Milim, Ariel, the once mighty ruler and former Demon King, had been brought to her knees. Her pride had been systematically broken down as she endured Milim's playful torment, which ranged from daily mock combat to bizarre punishments. In time, Ariel, despite her stubbornness, found herself agreeing to something she would have never imagined — becoming Milim's pet. It was either that or face a millennia of further bullying, which she could no longer stomach.

“I can't believe it,” Ariel muttered under her breath, arms crossed, glaring into the empty void of the training ground. “From Demon King to… a pet. How humiliating…”

But there was no way out. The relentless teasing and fighting from Milim, who was leagues ahead in raw power, had pushed Ariel to her limits. Even her powerful arsenal of abilities — from Gluttony to Divine Dragon Barrier — could only hold out for so long against Milim’s passive aura. Over the centuries of battle, Ariel’s own nature had shifted, and her form had evolved dramatically. She was no longer the spider-like chimera she once was; her body had absorbed an overwhelming amount of energy, particularly from Milim herself. Her spider features faded away, leaving her looking far more human, though her strength had increased tenfold.

Her skin was smooth, her eyes more human-like than before, but the essence of a dragon now coursed through her veins, reshaped by countless years of using Gluttony to feed on Milim’s overwhelming aura. Her regenerative capabilities had become passive, making her nearly unkillable. Despite these changes, Ariel still retained much of her former power, but now, more instinctive than conscious effort.

"Ugh, why did I agree to this..." Ariel pouted, her arms still crossed, eyes narrowed in annoyance. "I’m your pet now, but you know I *still* need to find and bully Kumoko. This isn’t going to stop me."

Milim, floating lazily nearby, grinned with a mischievous twinkle in her eyes. “Oh, come on, Ariel! Being my pet isn’t *that* bad. Besides, you *did* wreck my stage on Earth when you were looking for Kumoko, remember? This is just your punishment for causing that mess.”

Ariel groaned, recalling the disaster that had brought her to this point. Years ago, after first arriving on Earth, she had been in a panic looking for Kumoko — the spider she had shared a twisted bond with. In her rampage, she had torn through countless buildings, leaving destruction in her wake. One particularly unfortunate incident involved Ariel demolishing Milim’s stage for a dance performance on Earth. That had been the tipping point. Milim had decided to personally see to Ariel's punishment for nearly wrecking Earth in her search for Kumoko. That’s how Ariel had ended up stuck here in this hellish training ground, where time moved differently. Every year spent here felt like a century.

Milim leaned back, her bright pink hair fluttering in the air as she spun around lazily. “Well, at least you’re stronger now! I mean, look at you.. you even evolved from being a weird spider-human-chimera thing to something more… fully dragon-y. That’s progress!” She gave Ariel a teasing wink.

Ariel’s eyebrow twitched in irritation. “I didn’t want to evolve, especially not like this! You’re the reason I turned into this... this thing! I was fine the way I was.”

Milim burst into laughter, floating upside down now as she kicked her feet in amusement. “Oh, you’re just mad because you can’t bully me back. Don’t worry! Maybe one day I’ll give you a chance.”

Ariel clenched her fists, glaring daggers at Milim, but she knew better than to rise to the bait. Over the years, she had tried everything using her most powerful abilities, ambushing Milim, even trying to escape. Nothing worked. Milim always had the upper hand. It was infuriating. Even worse, her pride had been shattered so many times that she was now more like a companion to Milim, though the word "pet" still stung like a venomous wound.

“Besides,” Milim added, flipping back upright, “I have to go back to Earth for my dance practice soon. You’re coming with me, right? You did destroy the stage, so it’s only fair you help me fix things up.”

Ariel groaned again, rubbing her temples in frustration. “I don’t want to go back to Earth. There’s too much chaos there because of you."

“But you caused the biggest chaos by smashing my stage!” Milim retorted playfully. “So you’re helping!”

Ariel didn’t have a choice. She was bound to Milim now, both figuratively and literally. With a reluctant sigh, she nodded, giving in to her fate as Milim’s pet. As much as it annoyed her, it wasn’t like she had much of a choice. And maybe just maybe if she went along with Milim’s whims for long enough, she’d get a chance to break free. But for now, it was better to go along with it than suffer more relentless bullying.

The thought of Kumoko, however, still nagged at her mind. “Speaking of Kumoko,” Ariel muttered, “I will find her again, and she will be the one getting bullied next.”

Milim shrugged nonchalantly. “Sure, sure, you keep telling yourself that. But let’s focus on Earth first. After we’re done with the dance practice, you can go searching for Kumoko all you want.”

Ariel sighed in defeat but didn’t protest further. As ridiculous as this situation was, there was no fighting Milim’s boundless energy and impossible power. She could only hope that someday, somehow, things would shift in her favor.

As they returned to Earth, Ariel couldn’t help but notice how much her perspective had changed. She had gone from ruling her own domain to becoming a glorified pet, and it still gnawed at her pride. But something about Milim's carefree attitude made it difficult to hold onto her anger for too long. Perhaps, in a twisted way, Milim had managed to break through her barriers in a way no one else could.

Still, Ariel’s eyes narrowed as she looked around the bustling city they had appeared in. "First things first,” she said, her voice low and dangerous. “I’m not fixing that stage until you promise me one thing."

Milim blinked in surprise, tilting her head curiously. "What is it?"

“Kumoko,” Ariel said, her eyes gleaming with determination. “I get to have my fun with her after this.”

Milim grinned widely. “Deal! But remember, Ariel I’m still the boss!”

Ariel rolled her eyes, but a small, defiant smirk tugged at her lips. "We’ll see about that."

And with that, the reluctant pet and her mischievous master set off to fix the mess they’d both made on Earth. However, deep down, Ariel was already plotting her next move. After all, even a pet could have her day of rebellion.

And maybe… just maybe… that day would come sooner than Milim expected.
