The morning sun brings a new day, and Leeson finds himself lost in yesterday's memories while he eats breakfast. His mother, Delilah, enters the room and speaks with him.
Delilah: Baby, I have to work late tonight.
Leeson, still processing internal turmoil, responds somewhat distantly.
Leeson: That's fine, love you.
Delilah, oblivious to his emotional state, responds affectionately.
Delilah: Love you, too.
She kisses him on the cheek before leaving for work.

Leeson's athletic prowess is on full display as he plays on the field. The coach shouts from the sidelines, encouraging him.
Coach: Come on, Woods!
With a surge of determination, Leeson scores a touchdown, prompting a celebration amongst his teammates.
The scene then transitions to the classroom where Coach, satisfied with Leeson's performance, is giving him a stern pep talk.

Coach showers Leeson with praise, acknowledging his remarkable athletic abilities. However, his tone quickly shifts as he points out a significant issue.
Coach: Leeson, your talent is truly incredible. But there's one problem - your grades.
Leeson, facing the consequences of balancing school and supernatural duties, glances over at the wrecked front doors, a reminder of the previous night's events and the impact they've had on his academics.

Leeson, genuinely remorseful, responds emphatically.
Leeson: I'm sorry, I'll try to do better.
Coach, satisfied with his response, gives Leeson some crucial information.
Coach: Good, but you are able to go to the school dance tonight.
A wave of realization washes over Leeson as he processes the news.
Leeson (surprised): That's tonight?
Coach, confirming the event, encourages Leeson to have a good time.
Coach: Yep, have fun.
With that, he takes his leave.

Leeson, now at home, pours over a list of names, hoping to unmask the identity of the Nightwalker. He diligently writes down the names of every person he knows. Then, one by one, he carefully crosses them off, eliminating suspects and narrowing down the possibilities.

Leeson arrives at the school, the memories of the previous night's events still fresh in his mind. As he approaches the damaged front doors, he can't help but examine the aftermath of the Nightwalker's destruction.
Meanwhile, Harry, who dropped him off, is stuck in his car, bored to death, staring idly at the car's ceiling.

Harry, growing impatient, honks the car horn, trying to get Leeson moving.
Harry, frustrated: Dude, come on, the dance is in like 30 minutes!
Leeson, still engrossed in his investigation, responds somewhat irritably.
Leeson: Just give me a minute!
Suddenly, Leeson's eyes catch sight of something intriguing - a strand of black fur on one of the damaged doors. Instinctively, he picks it up and stores it carefully for further examination later.

The dance is in full swing as Leeson and Harry enter the vibrant scene. Harry, taking in the surroundings, remarks on the crowd.
Harry: There are a lot of people here.
Leeson simply replies, "Yup."
Harry, ever the instigator, quickly disappears into the crowd, no doubt up to his usual mischief. Leeson, meanwhile, scans the sea of faces and spots Kelsey standing amongst the dancers.

Leeson approaches with a mixture of trepidation and hope.
Leeson: Hey.
Kelsey responds with a simple "Hi".
Leeson, trying to break the ice, compliments her.
Leeson: You look...very pretty.
Kelsey, slightly softened by the compliment, responds with a polite 'thanks'.
Leeson, finally addressing the elephant in the room, asks the question that's been weighing on his mind.
Leeson: Are you still...mad at me?

Kelsey gazes at him for a moment, considering his question. Her anger, though still faintly present, seems to have been somewhat tempered by the compliment. She lets out a sigh before responding.
Kelsey: A little...
Leeson looks taken aback by her initial response, bracing himself for further rejection. However, her next words catch him off guard.
Kelsey (softly): But...I did kind of missed you.
