As I walked onto the balcony of beachside villa. I went straight to the shore and dig my feet on the golden sand.
"Hey," A deep voice spoke not far beside me. His silhouette is flowing outline of black. He step forward and that when I saw his face. "Wanna take a walk along the shore?" Kai suggested, flashing a smile that lit up his whole face. I nodded, and as I walked along with him.
"You done unpacking your things?" he asked, offering me a drink he was holding.
"No, I just want to get some fresh air after that long trip. How about you?" He stop for a bit and picked up a small stone and throw it in the water.
"I only got a few clothes, not much of unloading you know. And besides, all of them were busy preparing for dinner, I don't have much to do." we continue to walk and I found myself laughing at his witty remarks.
The crashing waves serenaded us with their soothing rhythm. The setting sun bathed the sky in a warm, golden glow, casting an amazing scene over the beach. Kai's presence was like a bright spot on a daunting day. His infectious laughter filled the air, and for a moment, I allowed myself to forget about Lisa.
"At least, I made you happy. I want to see more of that gummy smile, Jenn" he observed, a playful rhythm in his voice. I let out a soft laugh, feeling a glimmer of warmth despite the chill in the air.
"Well, with a person like you and this magestic view of the ocean, sure has a way of lifting my spirits."
"Yeah, you seem a little on edge since this morning."
I gave a bitter laugh. "It's just that Lisa is being Lisa lately making this trip hard for me." As we strolled along the coastline, the gentle waves lapping at our feet.
"We are used to her like that, well a lot of times I have witness that side of her. But just give her sometime, she'll be okay eventually. Just as you said, Lisa is being Lisa." he said, his eyes gleaming with empathy. "Take a look at this beaty and just enjoy the beach, forget about everything else." I nodded, feeling a weight lift off my shoulders at his words. I think he had a knack for making things seem lighter, even when the world felt heavy.
"Thank you."
"Not a problem. I was hesitating to approach you earlier, glad I did." His smile along with his golden tan skin was like watching a Prince in a fairytale. "She's lucky to have you."
"Umm?" He whispers something that I didn't catch. But he just smiled at me and lightly tap my head.

The sun dipped low on the horizon, casting a warm glow over the beach, as we strolled back towards the villa. The sound of gentle waves filled the air, and the salty sea breeze ruffled my hair.
Irene and Bambam runs towards us.
"Jennie, have you seen Lisa?" Irene's urgent tone broke through the calm sounds of the ocean. My heart stuttered in my chest, and I forced a casual shrug. "She's not answering our calls,"
"No, wasn't she in the room? Is something wrong?"
"Well actually, Lisa was looking for you earlier," Bambam replied, his brows furrowed in concern, then looked at Kai who is behind me. "And when she came back from the shore, Lisa has been drinking non-stop then she grabbed a bucket of beer and stormed off somewhere. Have you two had a fight?" I bit my lips, softly slench my hands to hide the tremble in my fingers, trying to figure out what to do.
"She probably got jealous and sulking somewhere." Jisoo said, she just popped out of nowhere "Besides, this is just a small Island you know, no boat to access at this time of the day, she'll turn up eventually." Even with assurance from Jisoo, I couldn't shake the worry that nibles inside me. Lisa's change of temper had become a constant, unpredictable lately.
"I'll go find her," I said, my voice tight with concern.
"I'll come with you. It's not safe for you to go alone." Kai said, but I shook my head.
"We can go separate ways so we can find her immediately." they all agreed and I hurried back towards the beach.
As I walked back through the shore, my heart raced with worry for Lisa. The fading sun cast long shadows, and the moon began its ascent into the night sky. I couldn't shake the feeling that something awful had happen to her. Suddenly, a faint sound reached my ears. A low, mournful sobs that sent shivers down my spine. With renewed urgency, I followed the sound, pushing through the underbrush until I stumbled upon the clearing where Lisa sat, hunched beneath a tree.
"Lisa?" I called out softly, my voice trembling with concern. Her head shot up, and I saw the glint of moonlight on a bottle in her hand. She looked at me with bleary eyes, and a bitter laugh escaped her lips, filled with wretchedness and sorrow.
"What are you doing here?" she spat out, her words slurred with emotion and alcohol.
"W-we've been looking everywhere for you. You can't just disappear like that." I confessed, stepping closer to her. She let out another bitter laugh, her shoulders shaking with the weight of her own pain.
"I can do whatever I please. And who gave you the right to question my actions?" Lisa's tone was as sharp as a dagger. I didn't mind her being so mean to me at this time, I sat not far from her, silently looking at the night sky full of stars.
Then a sobs filled the air, mingling with the rustling leaves and the distant lapping of waves on the shore. It was a haunting symphony of heartache that surrounded us in the stillness of the night.
