that is the name that is on everyone's lips at the moment, and has been for years, and will be for years to come.

being in the industry from the age of 15 gets you enormous amount of success, and attention. whether i wanted it or not.

i was born on the 3rd March 1993.
and at the beginning of 2008, at the age of fifteen i was signed to roc nation, and it really is the biggest honour of my life.
jay changed my life.

since then, ive become one of the best selling artists in the world.
who'd of thought it aye??

my background is, well, unusual.
my mom, Amara Jade Brown, is a black woman from houston texas.
my father, Arif Jaguar, is a british pakistani from bradford, west yorkshire, england.
they met when my mom came down to the uk, to leeds, for a business trip.
she is into art and fashion, so she came down to the uk to look at museums and attend small little business fashion shows.
that's when she met my father, who worked as a cleaner of the museum.
was it meant to be? yes i think so. but things got in the way and they ended up splitting when i was 14 years old.
mom moved back to texas, and my father stayed in bradford.

which meant, i travelled back and forth to see my parents for the next year until i got signed to roc nation and moved to LA.

once i got my first big pay check i wanted to buy my father a home out here in america, but he didn't want to live in america.
he wanted to stay in bradford, his home.
which was fair enough to me, but i had to be in america for work mainly.
so i left when i was 15, and mum came to stay with me in LA as i needed a adult with me.

i was discovered by jayz after entering both american and uk version of britains got talent at 13 and 14.
i went out in the first couple of rounds in at the age of 13.
and when i was 14 i got to the final in america, but i was sent home because they couldn't see a future for me.

that's when i was contacted by jay and his team, and my parents made a deal to wait until i was 15 years old to sign to jay. so i did.

my parents are the greatest parents and i can't fault them. they've supported me through absolutely everything. i admire them so much.

to get to know me a bit better, ive been releasing music since ive been 15 years old, so since 2008.
which means I've been releasing music for 7 years now.
time really does fly by when you're having fun.

being in this industry, you get a lot of men sliding into the dms. really.

my first proper boyfriend was when i was 17, i was dating Randy Jackson Jr. which was in 2010.
which lasted a year originally, then i went on to date Avan Jogia for a year before we split.
in 2012 i found my way back to Randy, and we split in 2014.
at the end of 2014/beginning of 2015 i dated cole sprouse briefly but nothing came of it really. it wasn't serious. but it was fun.
