AFTER AN UNEVENTFUL DAY AT SCHOOL, TATUM INVITED BOTH SIDNEY AND KITTY OVER TO SLEEP AT HER PLACE.

The trio weren't strangers to sleepovers, having had them often since they were young. And now, with Sidney's father away on business as well as Kitty's father being absent as usual and never home, Tatum suggested that the safest place for the girls would be at her place with her police officer of a brother. As well as the fact that she lived the furthest from the Becker household, just in case the killer would decide to strike again in the same area.

Kitty wrapped her jacket closer to her body when a gust of wind rolled by. She certainly hadn't dressed for the weather, with a short plaid skirt, some black boots, a thin sweater and a oversized jacket she stole from her brother. One that provided more style than warmth.

She jogged up the patio steps towards Sidney's house and rang the doorbell. Shifting from one foot to the other to try and stay warm. She glanced out behind her, the darkness of the night already having crept over the small town. For a second she thought she could make out a shadow across the road. Hiding behind a large tree with overgrowing branches. But before she could make out if it was real or just a figment of her imagination, the door to the Prescott house flung open.

Sidney furrowed her brows, "Hey, I didn't know you were coming here," Moving aside to let her friend in.

Kitty shrugged and entered, keeping her back to Sidney who closed and locked the door, "Yeah, erm...Someone slashed my tires. Thought it'd be easier for Tatum to pick us both up at once," She explained. Twirling around on the back of her heels to look at Sidney.

Her eyes widened, "Do you know who?" She asked, rushing over to Kitty's side and pressing her hand to Kitty's elbow.

"No clue. Probably just a prank," She shrugged off Sidney's concern, walking further into the house and heading to the living room where she noticed the only light in there was the lamp. She looked back at Sidney, who was following her inside, rubbing her eyes, "Did I wake you?"

"No, Tatum did when she called me," Sidney waved her off.

Kitty opened her mouth to speak when the landline rang, cutting her off.

Sidney sighed and grabbed the phone, "Tatum, just get in the car," She said whilst Kitty sat down on the couch, folding her leg over the other and placing her overnight bag by her feet.

Kitty watched her carefully. Spotting her face drop as she listened to the muffled voice on the other end of the line.

"Erm...Hi, who is this?" Sidney asked. Her forehead creasing.
