Grabbing a hidden drag that had been hidden under the fabric on her skin, she directed it to the man's neck- the tip of the dagger slightly pinching his tan skin. She stared at the man again as she held her position, wondering if he would make any sudden movements in an attempt to force her away.

The man stood unflinching, and instead of making any movement to disarm her, he instead just stared at her. Making her just as on edge as if he was attacking her. His gaze traveled up and down the woman's figure. The wet and dried blood marked along her skin, scratches, scars, bruises, and the well with red stained beautiful wings that sat upon her back- feathers lightly moving with the draft cruising throughout the valley.

"Who are you?" The woman spat, voice hoarse.

The man's eyes crinkled slightly as a smirk plastered itself on his face, and the woman's brows scrunched as she took in his features- she didn't understand what was going on.

"Who are you?" He replayed back to her, voice filled with curiosity, with a hint of assertion still poking through. As interesting and elegant as this woman seemed to him, he could not let his guard down simply due to her undying beauty.

"I asked you first" She demanded, the dagger pricking his skin slightly, a bead of crimson seeping from the tip and falling down his neck.

Much to his dismay, Azriel knew he would have to take care of this- like he typically would.

He quickly pushes himself back from the woman's reach, slamming her arm down, and taking her to the floor with him. Taking the dagger from her hand, she quickly wrapped her other hand around the back of his neck before pushing his body down into the soil, the ground shaking slightly.

Flipping him over, she grabbed his neck with both hands and began to revoke any air from entering her lungs. The man beneath her shifted slightly before another weird smile came over his face making the woman's own go blank- what is this game?

But as she seeped the air from his lungs she felt her own get weak, the force on the neck below her slowly going limp as her own body fell limp to the ground next to the man- the adrenaline wearing off and the reality of her situation hitting her like a wall. After somehow waking up in this land and healing her battered self she was flat out of energy, even using a little to retract air from her lungs was putting her to sleep.

Taking shallow breaths from the floor, the woman sat still, trying to regain enough physical energy to get away from the men next to her.

But her muscles wouldn't move, it felt as if all ability in her joints had gone stiff and her bones had turned to mush. Or maybe her body flat out refused to move for her, maybe it was so sick of the physical too that had always been taken on it that this was finally enough.

Still attempting to move her muscles, the woman's eyes slowly fluttered to a close, her last glimpse being the bright sky and hot sun. Hoping that she would still be able to sore it once again whenever she awoke.

A confused Azriel then shot up from his place on the grass, leaning over the now unconscious Woman.

"hm"

Rubbing his neck slightly as he stood up he debated his next move, take her to Day court? or Night court? he was sure he would get answers from her much easier if they flew to his home court.

A thud then sounded from behind where he stood, from the sheer force of it plus the grunts he knew Cassian decided it was his time to intervene.

Cassian walked forward next to Azriel, who stood still towering over the women's body "Now what is this?" He questioned, brows raising as his eyes flicked between the woman's unconscious body and Azriel's blank thinking face. Cassian's eyes then racked up and down the female's body, not out of desire- no, he had a mate for that- but from sheer curiosity. Possibly it was the immaculate white wings on her back, her features, the sheer power radiating off her skin, or the way he had glimpsed drips of blood parching Azriel's neck as if a small wound had already been healed in no time.

A chuckle left the brute's throat "She got you ay?" He teased sticking out his finger to poke the spot on Azirels neck, the shadow singer quickly shoved Cassian's arm away with a light scoff. No one would ever get the best of him, it was ridiculous for Cassian to even propose that idea in the first place.

Cassian rolled his eyes as Azriel crossed his arms on his chest "Got me? no, I let her get me" He claimed, knowing damn well if Cassian left with the thought that this random Female easily made Azriel bleed, he would never let him live it down.

The brute nodded, squinting his eyes at Azriel as if he were assessing him for lying "Yeah whatever you say..." He mumbled under his breath, making Azriel shoot him a glare before fully facing the male.

"Where is Rhysand?"

Cassian shrugged his shoulders "He said he was following me..." He looked around as if the high lord would suddenly fall out of the sky from their call, and he somewhat did.

Appearing from behind, purple mist falling from his stance and disappearing into thin air, Rhysand stood with his lips pressed tightly together "And I was" He simply stated, taking his time and walking over to the pair who still stood over the girl. Rhsyand then did the same thing Cassian did, looking at the girl then Azriel, then at the dried blood, lightly smirking before putting his mind back to the more important issue rather than teasing Azriel.

"our mountain mover?"

Azriel nodded, watching Rhsyand as he crouched down and picked up the limp woman's wrist, feeling for a pulse that was still incredibly strong for an unconscious woman.

Cassian raised a brow at Rhysand as he stood back up, waiting for his unanswered question to be answered. Yet it wasn't. Cassian sighed and looked at Azriel "What did you do" nodding toward the limp body. He received a blank stare from Azriel.

"Nothing, she just passed out"

Cassian made a face "Just passed out?"

Azriel nodded "Did I not just say that?" he kept a blank stare toward Cassian, expecting him to know that he thought he was a idiot.

"It would make sense, considering she made all our mountains shake" Rhysand proposed, glancing back and forth between both the men before looking down at the women again. Rhsyand didn't know what to expect from the recent quakes of the land, but he definitely wasn't expecting a female with wings to be the cause, especially those of non-Illyrian.

"What is she anyway?" Cassian asked, Rhysand agreeing with him, neither man putting together the dots of what she was, or who she was.

"Do either of you remember any history?" Azriel deadpanned, both of his brothers looking just as confused as they did before.

"She's a Harpie"
