Episode 0 : The Passing Down

"W-what is this place..?"

A girl asks to nobody as she finds herself to be inside an unfamiliar place that she has never been into (obviously duh). The place in itself looks like.... A heaven.? Maybe it's just because of the massive amount of blinding light that this place emits out, but there's also this strange pathway now that she looked down.

This same pathway seems to go on and on forwards from her position... Maybe she's meant to walk on it.? Well, if it meant that she can get out of this weird dream soon, then alright. And so she did just as that, she walked on it and with each step it's revealed that... This place is just nothing but light all around. How strange... She suddenly wanted to turn back, but somehow her legs just won't stop taking her down the path.

After a short while of walking. she finally reached it, the end of the pathway, if this dream can get any more weirder... Well, it can. Because also at the end of it is revealed to be a trio of giant statues which to the girl's eyes seems to be made completely of stone. There, her legs had stopped just in front, mere meters away from the otherworldly statues. Allowing her to observe them first.

While the other two don't have much charm for the girl, the one in the middle caught her attention the most. Somehow, there's a sense of familiarity with this one in particular... Wait, since when did she get all familiar with a statue.!? No, this can't be, this place must surely but slowly consume her from the inside..

"Fear not, chosen one."

Suddenly, a voice just as otherworldly as the statues echoes from out of nowhere. The voice also seemed to instantly make it's way into the girl's ears, think of it like getting flashbanged as the girls instantly tries to cover her ears with both her hands.

"W-what..? What do you mean.!?" The girl frantically shouts back for the first time towards the unknown voice. Seemingly in disbelief of what she had just heard.

"The giants of light have chosen you." The voice said once again. "You will be the one to illuminate all the darkness there is."

The girl covers her ears even more, but to no avail as the voice seems to just get more loud and louder the more she tries to keep it out. "I-i don't understand..! What do you mean that I have been chosen.!? I-i am just a normal, ordinary ship..!!"

"Everyone has that light within them, their wisdom cubes, it holds all the light they have. They just haven't realized it." The voice continues it's speech. "But they have been tainted by evil, all of them. Which is why, we, the giants of light, have chosen you. Your wisdom cube is just as pure as those of a newly launched ship."

The girl, still in disbelief, goes to ask the voice again. "H-how am I pure..? What is your reason for that..!?"

"We have observed you for a long time now. Your desire to be a hero despite your shortcomings has given us the conclusion that you, are the most suitable successor of our light." The voice then explains their reason for choosing the girl it's speaking to right now. The otherworldly tone it has giving it's speech a sense of certainty and confidence that it's choice weren't wrong.

"Well... That is true.." The girl said in embarrassment as she slowly lowers the hands that once covered her ears. "But if that's the case... How am I going to do it..?" She asks the voice again in a lower tone than before, to which the voice only chuckled.

"... But fear not, all the power you require will all be granted by us. The three figures you see in front of you are actually the giants of light themselves. A representative of us, though their body may be complete. They only lack one thing left.." The voice pauses a bit, building up suspense before continuing. ".. And that is, someone to actually use their power to guide those into the light. In other words, a host."
