1.Beginning

"Eomamama(Mother),why do I need to get married now?Iam still young"15 years old Sun whined to his mother that times crown princess the current queen.

"That is Jeoha's(The king) order,we cannot disobey it"crown princess Hong Min-jeong said trying to convince her son,but her work went vein as Sun became more stubborn."I want to talk with Halba-mama(Grandfather)"Sun declared.

He got up and went towards Gangnyeongjeon(The king's living quarter),"Sun-a, please listen to me!"the crown princess said trying to stop him.

"Jeoha, seson-mama(Grand Heir)has came to visit you"Eunuch Kim said from outside,a smile bloomed on the king's face"let him in"he said.Sun hurriedly came in a sat infront of him,"Halba-mama,I do not want to get married"Sun whined.

"Why is that? You are old enough to get married"the king expressed,"Halba-mama,Iam just 15"Sun tried to reason with him.

"So what?Your father was 13 when he got married,I was 11 when I got married.And who knows you might end up loving your wife"he teased Sun,"That would never happen,I will not get married"Sun said trying to match his grandfather stubbornness.

"Sun-a,Iam very old.I want to see my grandson get married before I die"having no other options,the king choose his last resort to blackmail Sun,"Halba-mama,do not say that you'll live a very long life""who knows I might die in a few moments.So,please don't declined my offer this one time"the king begged him.

"Okay, I'll get married"Sun said defeated by his grandfather.

"Gungju-agissi(commandery princess),how long do we have to do embroidery?"11 years old Chae-rin said tired after doing embroidery for an hour shraight.

"Until it's finished, Eomamama (Crown princess) punished me for trying to sneak out of the palace"princess Min-ju said."Please allow me to go out for a few minutes,my body is cramped up from sitting here"Chae-rin pleaded.

"Go, just return quickly"Min-ju said,"Thank you,agissi"after saying that Chae-rin quickly left the quarter.

"It's feels nice to be able to walk freely"Chae-rin finally let her feet be free from Afters hours of being cramped up.

Suddenly she felt someone touching her feet.She looked down and saw a cute cat,she bend down."Kitty,what are you doing?"the kitten looked like he wanted to say something.

The cat kept being handsy with a small knife attached to her norigae,"This?you can't have this"she said but the cat snatched the knife and ran off with it,"Hey,stop!"she said running after the cat, but the cat very fast.

The cat came very far before dropping the knife,she quickly picked up the knife.She looked to find a very old and dusty quarter infront of her.

Curiosity got the better of her and she entered the quarter.The inside was really dusty causing her to barely see anything, walking inside a little she saw various tools making it look like the room was used for black magic or something.

Suddenly a doll with pins inserted in it's body drop infront of her.She panicked seeing the doll and tripped, causing her to loose her conscious.

After a few moments she finally gained conscious.She looked around for a bit,"Ahhh!!!!"what she saw scared her to her core.

Sun was busy practicing sword fight,"It's fun,why did I not do it before"he said swinging the sword.

"Your highness, please be careful"Eunuch Hong said."Don't worry, I'll be fine"sun reassured him.

"Ahhh!!!!"suddenly they heard a screaming voice,"What happened?Who screamed"sun questioned.Followed by the scream a young girl came running towards them,she bumped into sun and fell down.

"Agasshi (young lady),are you okay?"he asked her,chae-rin looked up"I am ok-ahh!!"she quickly ran off from there."Why did she run away?Does my face look scary or something?"sun said offended by her."Wonson-mama,please do not be angry.She is just a child,she might have felt alarmed by your presence"said Eunuch Hong trying calm him down.

"Wonson,we have selected Ha-eun of park clan to be your wife,she is 16 years old.Do you have any opinion regarding the decision?"The Queen sun's step-grandmother asked him,"I have opinion regarding this decision,Halma-mama.I believe what the elders choose for me is the best"sun politely said.

"I relived that you accepted her as your wife"she said,"Halma-mama choose her for me,how could I not accept her"sun said.Though she was his step-grandmother she still thought of him as her own,it was the same for sun.

"Bingung,I have to say you raised brilliant son"the queen said with a smile,"It is all thanks to your help".

"What was that scary thing?"chae-rin said to her handmaiden Da-in,"So ugly and scary,that thing looked like it was about eat me alive"she added,"Agasshi,calm down please"A-ra said,"How could I calm down?All those scary looking people were staring at me,it was so scary"chae-rin said silently sobbing.

In chae-rin's view,there were so many eyes looking at her.She felt like an outcast because she was the only one to see them,it all felt unbearable to her.

"Wonson-mama, it's not a good idea to go out of the palace.Bingung-mama will be furious if she gets to know"guard Kang tried to convince sun to go back to the palace,"I am old enough to get married but not old enough to go out in my own will, that's ridiculous"sun scoffed.Guard Kang sighed knowing he could not convince sun.

Sun went towards the river, listening to the calming sound.He sat there enjoying the river stream until he heard a soft sob, looked the direction and saw a girl trying find something.

He went towards her"Agasshi,are you looking for something?"the girl looked at him with her eyes filled with red from crying,his heart ached seeing her like that."Yes,I lost a heirloom from my mother"her voice trembling.

"What is it that you're looking for? We'll help you""Really?!Thanks you, it's a silver hairpin with pink flowers made out of jade on it"the girl said.They started looking for it,after a while sun found the hairpin in a bush"Found it!"he exclaimed.He went towards the girl and handed her the hairpin"My lord,thank you for helping me find it.Oh my goodness,you cut your hand"she put his hand"It's okay"she didn't listen to him and tied him palm with a handkerchief.Sun stared at her,the he was expirencing was something new.

He arrived at the marriage institution, though his body was there his mind was somewhere else.He couldn't help thinking about that girl.Soon his wife-to-be came,he looked at her."What is the girl from the other day doing here?"he thought to himself.
