New York, the city that never sleeps, also the city filled with heroes. One of those heroes are flying against the skylight before coming down; this hero is none other than Spider-Man. His secret identity only known to a few people and a few teams. He was swinging through the city and reflecting on his life since there were no criminals out today to give him something to focus on and not the negative aspects of his mind. Spider-Man would land on a wall and just look down at the city for a moment, taking a breath for a moment and reflecting on his life. The past six years since he had been a hero had been a rocky one at best but while there had been times where he thought to give up, there were other times he gained more rewards than he ever thought was imaginable.

Six years ago; he was a normal teenager Peter Parker, then one day at Oscorp, a radioactive spider landed on his hand and bit him. This single event changed his life forever, and what solidified his actions and mentality to be a hero was when his Uncle Ben died at the hands of a robber. Filled with guilt since Peter had chance to stop the robber at a wrestling event, he understood that with Great Power comes Great Responsibility. From there on out, he used his powers to help people with aid from an old family friend Otto Octavious and help out his Aunt May with the bills by taking photos of himself as Spider-Man for the Daily Bugle.

However, even great heroes must struggle and face the prospect of failure: so as it was with Otto Octavious. Peter tried to save him when the Scorpion and Electro broke into his lab at Oscorp, but due to the battle, Otto would be pushed into equipment with his mechanical arms and was injured. While he was rushed to the hospital thanks to Peter, his mental state was forever altered and thus, Doctor Octopus was born. This wasn't the first of Peter's failures but it was his greatest, giving birth of an enemy who knew who Spider-Man was and set his sights on killing him more than one time personally.

The Web Slinger was brought out of his thoughts when his spider sense went off, he jumped away from the building as a car was thrown at him. The car exploded and Spider-Man landed on a flagpole before looking around, he couldn't see anyone at the moment but he felt someone was watching him. Screams of pedestrians were heard down bellow as Spider-Man turned his head to see some debris was falling down to civilians on the street of Times Square; the arachnid  themed hero jumped down and dived towards two civilians that wouldn't make it if they ran. He fired a web line before swinging in an arc and launched himself at the civilians, pushing them out of the way and landing on the ground roughly. "Ow..." he coughed as he slowly got up, rubbing his left shoulder while the people ran away from the sight.

Spider-Man lifted his head back up and looked up on the rooftops, then he stopped at one billboard as he thought he saw someone with a cape on it. He fired a web line to swing up to the billboard but when he got there, no one was up there. "What is going on?" he asked himself before looking around one more time, seeing if there was someone spying on him but couldn't find anyone there. "That's it, I'm probably going crazy with how many times villains have been trying to kill me," he whispered before firing another web line and swinging down through the city. All the while fire trucks and ambulances arrived on the scene.

Spider-Man looked around the area for anyone that could throw a car at him but couldn't find anyone. He landed on a lamp post and just thought for a moment while keeping his ears and his other senses open. Usually, no one could tip his spider sense off, chuck a car at him, then just not be around unless they were Mysterio or someone with a cloaking device. "Ok... ok..." he talked to himself again before swinging, "Beck is still at the Raft, far as I know Oscorp hasn't made any new Cloaking Tech, and Carnage is still at a S.H.I.E.L.D. maximum security wing at the Triskelion," he rationalized and crossing off things and villains that can surprise him. "Brock and I are on better terms now, so... that doesn't leave much out..." he continued to talk until his spider sense went off again and was quickly hit. Forcing the hero through a window into a coffee shop.
