“Just choose Marcus.” Beth says.
“No Beth, I'm not choosing between you and Ray for such a stupid reason.” I said in disbelief.
“Cause you’re on her side?”

“You sound really fucking dumb man.” I said.
“So you are on her side!”
“No! I am not, and plus She didn’t know you like him, and you expect her to just drop her relationship!”
“It would be the right thing to do.” she scoffed at me. “And if you were a real friend you would agree with me.”
“Dude I’m not choosing sides.” I said.
“Well then you’re just a bitch. That’s why you’re single.” she says. “Oh yeah but in case you haven’t noticed, I do have a boyfriend.”
“What?”

“Yeah and his name is Seth clearwater.” I said smiling.
“There’s no way. He’s too cute for you.”
“So what if he is.”

“I stand up and grab my bag “you’re leaving?”
“Yeah cause I’m a bitch.” I said.
“Yeah cause you are one.”
“Good luck finding a new best friend who puts up with your shit.” I walked out of her house.

And call Bella “yas? Marcus? aren’t you at Beth’s?”
“I left. Can you come pick me up?”
“What happened?”
“Beth was being a bitch so I left.” I said. “Okay but I’m with Edward’s so-.”
“No nevermind it’s fine. Stay there.”
“You sure?”
“Yeah I’ll just walk.”
“No, I don't want you to walk alone right now.”
“It’s fine, it's not that far.”
“At least call Seth and have him walk you home.”
“Okay bye.”
“Bye and be safe.” she says. I hang up and call Seth.

After two rings he answers. “Hey Seth.” I was a bit upset about the fight with Beth.
“Marcus? What’s wrong?.” He said a bit worried. “It’s a long story, but Bella couldn’t pick me up and she wants you to walk me home be-.”
“Okay yeah I'll be there. Where are you?” He said moving around. I give him the directions. “Okay I’ll be there in like 3 minutes.” he hangs up.

I sit down on the curb and wait. I feel a hand on my shoulder. “Hey I’m right here.” He says. Seth sits down next to me. I look at him and bury my face in his chest. “Please talk to me.” He said, stroking my hair. I take a deep breath. “You know that bitch Beth?’” I said seeing if he remembers.
“The one who was trying to break up the one guy’s relationship cause she liked the guy or something?”
“Yeah, well I was just over at her house, we argued and now we’re no longer friends.”
“Oh Marcus.”
“Why.”
“Cause I wouldn’t choose sids, then she called me a bitch and said that’s why I’m single, so I told her about you, and then she said that you were too cute for me which is so true.” he wraps his arms around me. ”I’m so sorry but I think it’s the other way around.”
“Huh?”
“I think you’re too cute for me.” I can feel my face starting to warm up as I smile at him. He smiles back as he kisses me on the cheek. ”We should start walking.” I told him. “Yeah it’s supposed to rain soon.” He stands up and puts an arm out for me. I take it and he pulls me up. Neither of us let go as we started walking.

“So what are you going to do?” He asked me.
“About what?”
“The whole Beth thing.”
“I don’t know, but I’m going to talk to Ray tomorrow about this.”
“That’s good.” He said as I put my arm around his shoulder. He snuggled up closer to me.

“Hey seth.”
“Yeah?”
“I love you.”
“I love you too.”
“You mean the world to me.” I feel my cheeks warm up. “You mean the world to me too.” I said as he smiled at me and started to giggle.

I felt a drop of water “oh no.” I sigh. “What?”
“It’s starting to rain.”
“Oh it is.” The rain starts to get harder. "Fuck." I say.
"Here put this on." He says taking off his jacket.
"No, you keep it."
"I can’t catch a cold, remember." I put it on.

We start to walk faster. We got to my house giggling and soaking wet.
"Wanna come in. It's pouring."
"Sure. Is Charlie home?"
"I don't know, probably."
"Okay." We walk inside.

Charlie’s sitting on the couch. “Hey dad.”
“Hey Mr. Swan.” Seth says.
“Hey kids.”
“Where’s Bella?”
“At Edward's,” he says. “Okay.”
“Are you guys hungry?”
“Yeah we are.” I said knowing that Seth is hungry. “Okay I bought pizza.”
“Okay, do you want some?” I ask Seth.
“Yeah.” He says.
“Okay, have as much as you want.” Charlie said turning back to the tv.

We walkover to the boxes and get a plate with 8 pieces on it and go upstairs to my room. Seth plopped down on the bed. “I’m going to the restroom.”
“Okay.” he said as I went to the restroom. I finish using the bathroom and sit next to him.

“Wanna watch a movie?” I ask him. “Yeah sure.” he said as he was taking a bite on a pizza. He cuddled closer to me.

After a while there’s a knock on the door. I pause the movie. “Who is it?”
“It’s me, Bella”
“Oh come in.” I said as she came in.
“Oh good Seth walked you home. “What happened?” I told her what happened. “Oh god she’s such a-.”
“Bitch.” Seth says as we start laughing.
“Yeah she is.” Bella said as she giggled.
“Where’s Edward?” I ask her.
“He’s most likely in my room.”
“Of course he is. such a weirdo.”
“I’m going to go so you guys can finish your movie.” Bella said as she got up  and walked to the door. “Okay.” I said as she went into her room. Seth moves closer to me as I smile.
