Home, it was a place where everyone felt safe. It was a comfortable place for most of the people, their home was somewhere they could have a peace of mind, spend time comfortably, rest their tired body without caring about anything else, sleep without being afraid.
Everyone had a place which they took as their home.
But for Jungkook, he couldn't find any place safe for him anymore. No matter wherever he was, with whomever he was, he couldn't feel safe at all. The horror had mixed within the blood running through his veins. Each second he felt being watched, his body being touched forcefully.
Even the moment he stepped into the house he had been living in since forever, he still felt strange. A very known yet foreign feeling occupied his soul.
Some moments flashed before his bare eyes, just a few months ago, he was the one who forcefully dragged the man inside this house, introduced him to his parents, they had dinner together right at that dining area, they chatted for hours sitting right on those couches.
Jungkook saw himself running after that kitten, he couldn't believe how happy he was at that time, how comfortable he felt around that person who had ruined every good thing about him. He was still in disbelief, still couldn't bring himself to believe Taehyung betrayed him like that.
For a moment, Jungkook's mind became restless upon thinking about the kitten. It must have grown up a lot by now, it was all tiny just a few months ago. He wondered how big it had turned by then since cats grow up quickly.
He felt guilty for leaving the poor animal with another animal, who was worse than anything. Only God knows better what Taehyung did to the poor cat. If he had done anything bad to it, Jungkook would never forgive him, never.
Now he wanted to slap himself for not taking the kitten with him.
Actually, at that time, he really didn't have the right state of mind to think rationally. All he wanted was himself out of that apartment, out of that building, far away from that place, all hidden from Taehyung. That was all his mind was chanting.
The kitten which was sleeping in the bedroom couldn't be in his thoughts. If he had the sense, he would have definitely taken the cat with him.
He swiftly glanced over at the man, who was talking to someone through the phone at a distance. He couldn't help but think, wondering if there was any news related to Taehyung. Did he get caught yet? Was he behind the bars yet? Did the police figure out it was Taehyung who had kidnapped those boys or did they figure out it was Taehyung who was the serial killer the whole time?
He couldn't collect any correct answers for his questions. All he could do was wander his mind around. But at the same time, he didn't want to know about it. He was afraid of knowing something which he didn't want to know.
What will happen to Taehyung after getting caught? What punishment would he get for kidnapping? But it wasn't only kidnapping, they were also killed. Not a single person, three of them. It would get more messy when he would be caught as the serial killer, who had killed God knows how many people.
The only punishment that was coming to Jungkook's mind was death. Taehyung was surely going to be killed. That's what every murderer, serial killer deserves. They should also have the taste of their own medicine.
And for Taehyung, who surely didn't give any of his victims a normal death, it wasn't enough. A simple death wasn't enough for him. All those people who were killed by him would feel insulted, they surely wouldn't feel justified.
The real version of Taehyung he met before made Jungkook ponder whether the man had forcefully taken advantage of anyone before. Had the man played with other's bodies like he did with his. He really wondered.
