"Get him!" A guard shouted. Merlin dashed through the woods behind his castle, satisfied with his plan so far. All he had left in his plan to escape, was to run through the shortcut in the woods to the docks and use his boat and take off, away from the Royal life.

Merlin kept on running, not looking back once. He could hear the shouts of guards from the distance, running after Merlin. After sprinting for a few, Merlin reached the docks and spotted his small but strong boat. Merlin ran to the boat and started quickly untying it, but it was a struggle as he tied it a bit TOO well.

While untying it, Merlin could sense someone behind him. He slowly turnt his head around, only to see the chief of the guards. Merlin chuckled awkwardly and slightly smiled. "Hey, Tom?" Merlin laughed sheepishly. Tom reached his arm out and grabbed Merlin.

"I got him!" Tom told one of the other guards. The other guard gave a thumbs up and started running back to the castle. Tom started walking, Merlin being dragged back to the castle. This was what Merlin dreaded the most about trying to escape, getting scolded by his mother and father, the king and queen.

Two guards opened the massive brown doors leading into the throne room, where Merlin would be scolded at. Tom and Merlin walked into the throne room silently. Merlin prayed the scolding wouldn't last long, and the punishment wouldn't be harsh.

Merlin's mother's face was red with rage, along with his father. "THIS IS THE 5th TIME YOUVE TRIED TRIED TO ESCAPE!!!" His mother scolded. Merlin's father nodded of agreement of ever sentence his mother said. About after a hour of scolding, Merlin was sent to his room. Merlin slowly walked down the long hallway to his room. When he reached his room, he opened the door and walking inside, closing the door behind him.

Merlin sat down on his bed, and sighed. "I hate this place..." Merlin groaned. Merlin laid down on his back, staring at the ceiling. He couldn't go out his window to escape, as it had bars on it. And he couldn't walk out either, as his bedroom doors were guarded by two strong guards.

Merlin just wished he could just escape the castle forever. Merlin tried making another mental plan, but after a while, he fell asleep in his bed.
