Chapter Twenty Five- Getting Full Access.

Catherine leaned against Isaac's shoulder, exhaustion finally catching up with her. "I think we all need a vacation," she said, her voice soft but filled with resolve.

Isaac smiled, wrapping his arm around her. "I couldn't agree more."

The room, once filled with tension, suddenly lightened as everyone shared a collective sigh of relief. Tony, still watching the news, chuckled. "A real break sounds like a dream right about now."

Marco stretched, his usually stoic expression softening. "Maybe somewhere with no phones, no missions, and definitely no presidents."

"Someplace quiet," Lucas chimed in, leaning back in his chair. "Maybe a beach, where the only thing we have to worry about is deciding between swimming or sitting in the sun."

Emma grinned, playfully nudging Catherine. "Cathy, you're the mastermind. Where should we go?"

Catherine laughed lightly, looking around at the team she had grown so close to. They had been through so much together, and now, with a massive weight lifted off their shoulders, the thought of stepping away, even for a short while, seemed like the perfect remedy.

"I'll plan something," she said, smiling up at Isaac. "But it has to be somewhere no one can find us, even if the world is ending."

Isaac nodded, his eyes filled with pride and affection. "Sounds perfect."

As the news droned on in the background, recounting the downfall of the President and the corruption unraveled, for the first time in what felt like an eternity, the group allowed themselves to dream of peace. They deserved it. After all the battles, all the sacrifices, they had earned a moment to just be.

"To the vacation we all need," Tony said, raising his hand in a mock toast. The others joined him, laughter filling the room as the tension slowly faded, replaced by a rare sense of hope.

"Wherever we go," Catherine said, her eyes sparkling with relief and anticipation, "we'll go together."

Catherine gathered the group, her voice steady but casual. "I have an informant," she started, glancing around the room. "I gave his mother a liver transplant, free of charge. He mentioned that he owes me, but honestly, this is just returning a favor." She shrugged nonchalantly, but her words carried weight.

Isaac raised an eyebrow, impressed but not surprised by Catherine's resourcefulness. "A liver transplant? Free of charge?" he asked, leaning back in his chair.

"Yeah," Catherine replied, brushing it off like it was no big deal. "He's been waiting for the right time to repay me, and now he's delivering."

Just as she finished speaking, her phone rang. Everyone in the room fell silent as Catherine picked it up. It was the informant.

Catherine listened intently, nodding occasionally as the informant spoke. "Got it. Thanks for this." She ended the call and turned to the team, her eyes focused and sharp. "We have the location. The rest of the government officials are hiding out in a secure bunker just outside the city."

Tony folded his arms, looking impressed. "Your network never ceases to amaze me."

Catherine smirked. "Well, it helps when you save someone's life. Now we have the upper hand."

Lucas stood up, ready for action. "What's the plan?"

Catherine's demeanor shifted, her mind already racing ahead. "We'll take them by surprise. They're expecting us to be tied up with the president's fallout, but this... this is where we cut the head off the remaining snakes."
