Angelica:

He left in such a rush, leaving her stunned but as she stared down at the wallet he threw at her so many ideas and shopping possibilities came into her mind making her excited for the morning to come.

What was her purpose? She wasn't sure herself although she did help the environment as much as she could from sickness or injury she wouldn't call that a major purpose. So perhaps, she looked down at the purse in her hands, it wasn't right to use his money. She began feeling terrible for being excited for the money given but it now tasted bitter in her mouth after all, that's not the type of person she is.

Tucking the wallet away, she flew up into the higher parts of the trees, flying past all the branches to find Wanderer, though to no avail. Eventually, she decided to perch herself on a branch to her liking, walking to the edge and spreading out her wings feeling the tips of her feathers wanting to catch the wind and guide her into the air.

Placing both hands on her heart she decided to speak her truth even though she couldn't see him.

Taking a deep breath, she looked up into the clouds and began to sing.

count to ten, clear my heart now
getting all, gonna go out, just to see if I still know how
I can hardly feel, but I try to pretend
I put my hand on my heart just to see if I'm human
you hold your breath just to see if you can
when you've been broken, when you've been broken
could there be an answer in the heart that set me free
more then all these empty words
that brought me to my knees
and I'm broken, but I'm hoping
and I'm broken, but I'm hoping

She wasn't sure she completely understood the heart of her saviour, at times she saw the heart of a child and other times it was veiled from the world, which fed her desire to understand him, was the glimpses of a boy she saw really but figments? Her instincts told her that was not the case. After all, she may seem shallow and childish, even so, as someone who knew the pain of being alone in those trying times, if those instances brought out a spark of hidden kindness in him, perhaps that was something she could do.

So, she decided to wait as long as it took for him to understand her and she would do the same.

Wanderer:

Wanderer brazenly made his way up the spiral staircase that lead to the Sanctuary of Surasthana.

Once at the top, he deactivated his Hanega and looked out from the balcony that hung over The Divine Tree. Eyes glazed at the scenery before him, he searched in his garments, taking out the carving of the finch. He held it up to the last bit of light that shone above the now darkened blue horizon and stared at it. The glare from the sun mingled with the Jade and brightened it up like stars in the sky that reflected into his dulled eyes - bringing life to them again.
He smiled faintly at the gem before placing it back into his clothing.

He waltzed up to the Sanctuary's entrance, reaching out to the handle before it wriggled and was opened on the other end.

The one on the other side peered up at him, her hair stark white and glowed like the coming moon that was a contrast from the incoming darkness.

She cocked her head and grinned.

"I was just about to call for you," She looked around puzzled, "Where's Angelica?"

"Probably sleeping," He guessed with a light shrug, pushing past the shortie and settling into his usual spot - against the railing that led to the inner floor.
