A frightening silence reigns in the centre of the Void, casting an ominous shroud over the lonely terrain. Shadows writhe and twist, as if the fabric of reality is buckling under the weight of despair. Once vibrant and full of life, the beings who called themselves human now float through this realm as Ethereals, their shapes distorted by the agony of their lost humanity. Wisps of memories plague their existence, remains of joy and love transformed into sorrowful echoes that linger in the silence.

Amidst the despair of the Void, a daring team assembles. Hired for a job few would dare accept, the Victoria Housekeeping Co. ventures into the unknown, tasked with finding resources or eliminating the Ethereals that threaten the remnants of humanity.

Von Lycaon: (running ahead, glancing back) Alright, team! Remember the plan: we stay together , scout for supplies, and take down any Ethereals we encounter!

Ellen: (jogging lazily beside him) stay together? Can't we just grab what we need and go home?

Y/n: (serious) No time for shortcuts. We need to be thorough. The last thing we want is to miss something important

Corin stumbled slightly, catching herself just in time, her heart racing with anxiety

Corin: B-but what if we run into something... stronger?

Alexandrina, floating elegantly above them, offered a reassuring smile.

Stay close to one another. We've trained for this. Together, we can handle whatever comes our way.

Suddenly, a low growl echoed from the depths of the shadows, sending a chill through the group.

Y/n: (stopping abruptly, eyes narrowing) Enemy spotted!

Without waiting for a response, he bursts forward, his metal bat gripped tightly in his hands, leaving the others behind

Y/n: (shouting with excitement) WEEEEEYEAAAH! It's massacre time!

Fueled by adrenaline, Y/n sprinted ahead, leaving the rest of the team behind. The thrill of the hunt ignited a fire within him, urging him to push forward. Von Lycaon glanced back, surprised by Y/n's speed

Von Lycaon: (shouting) Whoa, Y/n! Slow down! You're going to get yourself in trouble!

Ellen: (smirking) And there goes the maniac, leading the charge like always.

Corin, her brow furrowed with concern, took a few hesitant steps forward, her grip tightening around her saw blade

Ellen: (rolling her eyes) Relax, Corin. He thrives on this! But yeah, let's not leave him hanging too long.

Von Lycaon nodded, a grin spreading across his face as he felt the energy in the air.

Von Lycaon: Right! Let's catch up before he makes a mess of things!

The oppressive atmosphere of the Void pulsed with dread, shadows swirling around the team as they faced a horde of Ethereals, their grotesque forms shifting and writhing in the dim light. Y/n, his instincts sharpened by adrenaline, felt the weight of the moment as the first strike fell squarely on his shoulders.

Y/n: (grinning) Time to kick things off!

With a powerful leap, he soared into the air, his metal bat glinting ominously. The world around him faded as he focused solely on the closest Ethereal, its distorted face twisted in a silent scream.

He swung down with tremendous force, the bat connecting with a sickening crack against the Ethereal's head. The creature staggered, its form collapsing into dark mist, but the horde behind it surged forward, undeterred.
