Chapter 1 : Alina Riley

Alina : I was driving my way back home when i was about to hit another car accidentally but luckily i was fast enough to stop her car before hitting onto the other car. This can't be worse. I sighed at the time. I am already running late and now I am also in this mess.

FLASHBACK

Alina was in her office working on the new jewellery collection of her company "CLAONIA" when suddenly her phone rang. She looked at the phone and it was her Mother. Seeing her mother calling her a small smile appeared on her face. She picked up the call.

Alina : Yes Mum!

Mrs. Riley : Sweetie, are you busy tonight?

Alina : Hmm..... A little bit! But why mom?

Mrs. Riley : Nothing much but can you return early today? We have a few guests coming to our place.

Alina : Hmm... When are they coming?

Mrs. Riley : Oh! They will be here till 8:30 pm sweetie.

Alina : Ohh, Okay mom i will try to return home before that.

Mrs. Riley : Really ? got excited We will wait for you okay, take care sweetie. I love you sweetheart!

Alina : I love you too mumma! giggles

later Alina got busy with her work and forgot about the dinner. It's already 8 p.m when she looks up from her laptop.

Alina : seeing the time my eyes wide Shit! I forgot about the guests. I quickly turned off my laptop. I took my hand bag and keys then left from there.

END OF THE FLASHBACK

Alina : I saw that the car owner is coming toward me furiously. Oh no... He came and knocked on my car window. I quickly got down from my car to apologize to him for my mistake.

?? : Can't you see where you are going? Said coldly anger is visible on his face.

Alina : I am really sorry sir, I was in a hurry and i didn't notice. I said political as it's truly my fault.

?? : You think sorry is enough? What if my car was hit by yours? Huh? He started to behave rudely.

Alina : tchh. Arrogant I look at him i am already pissed off Mr. Whatever your name is. I am genuinely sorry for my mistake and sincerely apologise for that but you can't talk to me like this!!

?? : Excuse Me?? First of all it's you who came and hit my car and now you both are acting like you did nothing. Just Wow!!

Alina : Sigh Sir, I sincerely apologize to you for that mistake. But really don't have any time to talk with you now Took out my business card and handed to him. You can come into my office and we can talk there.

Before he could say anything more her phone rang. Her mother was calling her she mentally cursed herself for waisting so much of her time. Without waisting anymore time she got in her car and drove away.

Alina : I was already stressed and now this random guy is also Frustrated Oh no, i got no time to waste here, I need to get home as soon as possible. Said to herself and sighed

TIME SKIP

Alina reached home and saw her parents were sitting on the couch and talking with another middle aged couple. The Travis. Travis are very well known for their business. When Mrs. Riley noticed her and smiled at her. She also smiled back.

Mrs. Riley : Ohh, Sweetie you are back! She said making others means Mr. Riley and The other couple were there looking at the way she is looked at. But you are late sweetie she chuckled

Alina : She looks slightly angry remembering the reason why she is late to Mom Don't scold me please, I will go and come back in 15 minutes. She looked at her mother with an apology look.

Mrs. Riley : Chuckled at her I was just teasing you. Now go and quickly freshen up then come back. She gave her a comforting smile to let her know it's fine.

She nodded and quickly went toward her room. She cleaned herself and took a shower in half an hour she came down after getting dressed formally.

Alina : Smiled a little and said Hello to everyone Hello, Mr & Mrs. Travis. Moved toward her parents Hi Mom, Hi Dad Gave her parents a hug and kissed on their cheeks.

The guests are smiling foundly. Seeing her sweet interaction with her family. They looked at each other and nod with a small smile on their lips.
