Asvika Sahani moved around her family's cozy home, helping her mother set the table for dinner. It was just another regular evening in the Sahani household, filled with the familiar hum of laughter, love, and warmth. Her mother, Nisha, hummed an old Bollywood song as she plated the food, while her father, Jairaj, sat in the living room, engrossed in his mobile.

"Asvika, could you bring out the dal, please?" Nisha asked, her voice laced with affection.

"Yes, Maa, coming!" Asvika replied, wiping her hands on her apron. She had just returned from her office at Sahani Architects, where she worked as a budding architect. After years of rigorous training, Asvika had finally gained a foothold in the industry, but her dream was to design something iconic-something that would leave a lasting legacy.

As she placed the steaming bowl of dal on the dining table, her mind briefly drifted to the project she was overseeing-a sleek commercial complex in the heart of the city. The pressure was intense, but Asvika thrived on challenges.

"Lost in thought again?" Nisha teased, catching the faraway look in her daughter's eyes.

Asvika smiled, shaking her head. "Just thinking about the project, Maa. So much to do."

Jairaj (her father) chimed in from the living room, "You're going to do just fine, beta. We're proud of you."

Asvika beamed at her father's words. The Sahani family had always been her greatest support, fueling her drive to succeed.

Her younger brother, Rohan, perched on the kitchen counter, chimed in, "When you become a famous architect, can I have a mansion built by you? One with a pool and a gaming room?"

"Of course," Asvika laughed. "But you'll have to study hard first!"

Just then, the doorbell rang, and Aarna, their bubbly neighbor and Asvika's best friend, entered with her usual enthusiasm. "I hope I'm just in time for the feast!" she exclaimed, eyeing the table.

"Always looking for free food," Rohan smirked.

"Hey! A girl's gotta eat!" Aarna shot back playfully.

As they settled down for dinner, Nisha shared stories from her day while Jairaj added his lighthearted comments. This was Asvika's sanctuary-her family, her laughter, and her dreams.

Across town, in a sprawling mansion that felt more like a fortress, Ashrit Chandravanshi sat in his study, reviewing business reports. The heir to the vast Chandravanshi empire, Ashrit was a man who commanded power and respect, both in the business world and the shadows that followed him. The Chandravanshis were known for their prominence, but there was a darker undercurrent to their wealth and influence-one that Ashrit navigated with ruthless efficiency.

His family had always lived under one roof-a joint family filled with traditions, responsibilities, and the weight of legacy. His father, Devendra Chandravanshi, the patriarch, ran the family business, while his uncle Mahendra handled the affairs of their vast estate. Ashrit's cousins, Rudra and Samaira, were also involved in the business, though Ashrit carried the heaviest load as the future leader of the family.

As he leaned back in his chair, glancing out of the large window, Ashrit felt the weight of expectations pressing down on him. His life was planned down to every detail-except for one unexpected twist that was about to unfold.

That evening, as the sun dipped below the horizon, a meeting was set to take place at the Chandravanshi mansion. Ashrit's father had called for an important discussion, one that promised to change the course of Ashrit's life forever.

Back at the Sahani household, the atmosphere was lively as Asvika and Aarna chatted animatedly about their dreams and aspirations. Just then, Nisha sat down next to Asvika, her expression turning serious. "I know this must be a surprise, but there's been a proposal from the Chandravanshi family."

The tone in her mother's voice made Asvika's heart skip a beat. "What do you mean, a proposal?"

Her father interjected, "The Chandravanshis are very influential, and this could secure your future."

"But I don't even know him!" Asvika protested, her mind racing

Jairaj leaned closer, his expression softening. "These kinds of alliances are common in families like theirs. They value tradition and business ties."

Asvika bit her lip, uncertainty filling her chest. She had always imagined marrying someone who understood her dreams and aspirations. Now, faced with the possibility of marrying into a world where love was a luxury, she felt lost.

Meanwhile, in the Chandravanshi mansion, Ashrit's father, Devendra, gathered the family in the grand living room. The atmosphere was tense as he laid out the proposal.

"Ashrit, it's time for you to take a step forward. The Sahani family is a good match. Their daughter is talented, and the alliance will strengthen our business ties," Devendra announced.

Ashrit leaned back in his chair, skepticism etched on his face. "A marriage of convenience, then?"

"Think of it as an opportunity," Devendra replied, his voice firm. "You know the importance of family and legacy."

Ashrit felt a flicker of rebellion rise within him. He had always been expected to toe the line, to follow the path laid out for him. But he also knew the weight of the Chandravanshi name.

As he glanced around the room, the shadows of expectations loomed large. This proposal might just be the beginning of a new chapter-one that could either bind him in chains or set him free.

That night, as Asvika lay in bed, her mind swirled with thoughts of the future. The proposal, the Chandravanshis, and the uncertainty of it all filled her with both excitement and dread. She knew one thing for sure: her life was about to change in ways she could never have imagined.
