IZUKU'S EYES WIDENED.
"K-Kacchan! N-Nice to see you!" He stammered, standing up.
It was quickly arranged that Izuku should go downstairs where his mother and yours were talking, leaving just you and Katsuki.
"So, what was Deku doing here?" He ordered, sitting down next to you.
"The big news..." you murmured, looking down at your lap.
"Why the fuck are you speaking as if he's pregnant?" Katsuki said with a scowl.
You looked disgust. "What in the Gacha—"
"In the what?"
The rest of the day ended up being an awkward dinner with Inko, your mother, you, Katsuki and Izuku. Inko kept on asking Katsuki 'how Mitsuki is', 'how are your studies going' and an awkward question.
"Why don't you come over and hang out with Izuku someday?"
Katsuki looked down at his plate and spoon loudly across it, making you wince. Your mother frowned, and then there was a long silence.
Katsuki was still looking down at his plate, unblinking, and Izuku gulped.
"No... thanks..."
You and your mother instinctively looked at Inko, who just smiled at the ash-blonde, but the hurt in her expression was clear as day. Izuku looked like he was about to cry too.
"U-Um, shall I take your plate, Katsuki?" Your mother nervously offered.
Katsuki nodded politely and pushed his plate towards your mum, and then headed upstairs. Without looking at you, he beckoned you over with a finger, and you immediately left the table without a word and ran after him.
