The car comes to a screeching halt and we are all thrown in the front upon the brake. Everyone comes out of the car, and we amble down the supermarket.

"You always come here?" I ask.

"I don't come here all the time. My mom usually goes for shopping or to do grocery. By the way it's really boring but I like the A.C in there."

I walk along with her. Mrs.Campbell is in the back, slowly heading with Sam, who is holding her index finger of the right hand. We keep looking back to see if we aren't walking fast.

As we enter, the coolness of A.C caresses over our skin and Julia sniffs in that air. Then she exhales out like a deflating balloon. I am asking in my heart that what is she doing that. Hasn't she ever experienced A.C or she just loved the feeling while doing that.

"Julia, I am with Sam over to the vegetable side and you both stay close," Mrs.Campbell instructs.

When Mrs.Campbell abandons the control over us. I feel free. I can then move around less stiffly. Julia is touching over the cold spot on the things.

"What are you doing?" I wonder.

"What?" She asks back.

"You are touching around things. You okay?" I playfully remark. Even lets out a tiny laugh.

"Oh my god. In our house the A.C is not working and sometimes it gets really hot in the night. But my dad is delaying to get it fixed. So whenever I go somewhere I fall in love with the A.C and the cold things. Ah! What a feeling." She is acting a bit exaggerated.

I scoff soundlessly and move away somewhere else. The section that we stand in is filled with dairy food.

When Julia feels she is way behind, she quickly steps after me.

"How long does it take to do grocery?" I ask. She shrugs her shoulders. "I don't know."

"My parents don't take me anywhere. I bet they don't even like me anymore." My voice trails off. "It's so good that your mom and little brother are with you all the time. You're like a family that I wish for."

Julia laughs. "Don't you know how annoying is Sam. He flips the house. Would you wanna a brother like him?"

"I mean of course. He is like a small light in your house, which keeps everyone turned on." I fold my arms across my chest.

"That's actually true. You see my family different than I. I only pay attention to the annoying negative things."

I take a sigh as if I am done with a hard work. I loiter around the same section. Then Julia takes me to the different place, coming out from the dairy section and into the section that had all types of chocolate bars and candies.

"This is so cool. I see mom and dad bring these chocolates but I don't know from where." I tell. My heart is tempted to grab all of the bags of chocolates and candies and take it home.

"I wanna get this one this one and that whole shelf on the top. So good right?" Julia points to every single packet of candies that she keeps a wish to buy. "But then mom is gonna say that it's too expensive or we have that already at home. I know she just makes excuses to not buy it."

"Really?"

"Yeah. Doesn't it happen?"

As we cherish the shelves stacked with abundant snacks. My eyes in a blink catches Mrs.Campbell. She seems worried and is searching for something or perhaps someone. I let her appearance go by. But then I hear her calling Julia and Bethany.

Then I understand that she was anxiously looking for us. She draws close by and I immediately tap on Julia's shoulder by the shelf. "Julia, I think your mom is looking for us. We should go now."
