Quackity POV

Wilbur is such an idiot, he can't decide if it's a good type of idiot or bad kind, but calling the taller male an idiot has become sort of a little joke between them.

Wilbur is a rather good shot though, it surprised him when they did shooting together for the first time.
After doing a few weeks of training together Quackity is actually starting to enjoy the spacious training center they get all to themselves most days, and the fact that they don't get yelled at by supervisors all the time they are training like his past agency.

Wilbur is alright too I guess.

Today he's supposed to be taking his knife throwing test again and he is freaking out about it, he practiced all night and is still practicing in the morning when Quackity gets escorted down to the training center.

"Wilbur are you really still here?" he asks in disbelief as he walks into the training center seeing the other assassin throwing at the target.

"Yeah, gotta keep my aim up" Wilbur replies, his eyes are very tired.

"Did you sleep at all?" Quackity asks putting his hands on his hips.

"Um... a little" Wilbur shrugs.

"Oh great" the shorter male rolls his eyes, "your aim is gonna be sloppy without sleep."

Wilbur shrugs and goes back to throwing, he's proving Quackity wrong, surprisingly doing rather well.

"You think I'm ready?" he asks finally.

"Yeah you'll probably get above 95% accuracy" Quackity admits.

"Good! Then I'll be able to get my full badge and everyone will look up to me" he proclaims with a grin.

"How many fully trained assassins are even recruited here?" Quackity asks instead of responding to his childish comment.

"We got like... 4 duos, me and you will be the 5th, and then we got 2 training still and 3 that all work solo" Wilbur starts to count, "and then there's me and you too so there's 15, but only about 7 are fully trained."

"Only 7? And the others are still being sent on missions?" the shorter male asks in disbelief.

"You learn best from doing the real thing" Wilbur shrugs and goes back to throwing like it's completely normal that not all the assassins are fully trained but are still going out on missions.

"I... what the..." Quackity is speechless. You aren't even allowed to start test missions until you complete your training at his old agency.

"Your agency is strict huh" the taller male observes his expression.

"Well there's a reason it is the best agency in the nation" Quackity replies.

"Debatable" Wilbur says.

Quackity chooses not to respond.

Soon the commander walks into the training center. It must be time for Wilbur's test. Quackity isn't sure where he is supposed to go so he just backs away from the knife throwing spot.
The commander doesn't say anything to him just gestures him to go to the other side of the round arena.
