It had been a bright sunny and cheerful day.  He sat there on a rickety old swing, held together by only two welds on both sides of the poles. No swinging, no motion, just sitting and looking into the ground. He had a relaxed sort of look to him, and as the wind blew ever so slightly, he didnt seem to have a care in the world. But the sad reality was that his past he tried so hard to run away from caught up to him. This was'nt news to him though, because his past always catches up to him, she always does.

The boy was naturally shy, he had grown up taking care of his multiple family members, but even doing somthing that takes so much confidence,  it was often impossible to say what his heart and mind wished him to. Silent, many people only saw that side of him, and in turn many people saw him as a shut away, as a person with no interesting qualities. Because so many people saw him this way he also believed this true. The only times that he knew this mindset wrong was that in the presence of his friends. He did'nt have an extraordinary amount of friends compared to those considered "popular" at his school. But the friends he had were the most trustworthy people he had ever known, he could tell them anything and everything. This would be one of those moments he would tell them about, A moment he would ask for their advice.

There sat X in front of the old rusted over poles of the swing, Her gentle hazel eyes staring up at him with what would seem to be "love". To many it would appear to be that way, but that would be incorrect. The look she had in her eyes was the longing for momentary happiness. O still sitting on the swing slowly swaying back and forth now looking up toward the sky. The clouds blotted out the sun, and a dark shadow fell upon the large land. X still looking at O with those painful eyes, askes him "Can I have a hug, Please?". O looked at her, and reluctantly stopped the slow sway of the swing, picked himself up and walked toward her. His arms reached outward ready for the embrace he had always thought akward after the events. They met and felt the warmth of the hug, only interuppted by a tap on O's shoulder. As O pulled his head back to expectant to meet X's eyes he was instead met with a kiss.

It had only lasted seconds, the hug, to the unwanted kiss. But the time after seemed to last forever. By this time O had already taken two steps backward and was starring at X with a blank face. Looking in her eyes, he saw it all. Every painful memory, every moment of sadness X had brought to him, all of it he could see in her eyes. When all of the memories had past, when there just wasnt anything else to remember, he thought about then. He was filled with guilt, sadness, and confusion. He did'nt want what had just happend, he did'nt want it the way it happend. He could only think of the wrong that had just happend and that maybe he could have prevented it. But those thoughts were useless now.

X satisfied with what she had done was happy, anything that happend before that and leading up to that point had'nt matterd to her, she had gotten what she wanted. The people, the effect, and the damage ment nothing to her. This "moment" this single time was all that she thought of. And just as the moment ended, as X walked away it started to rain.

She had left him. O sitting on the old rickety swing swaying back and forth in the rain violently as the storm rode in and the alarms sounded. Staring into the ground with a relaxed look to him. Then he was swept way. The only reminder of him etched into the pole of the swing "O+X 4ever".
