Killian. Kiss. Lips. What?!

My mind was racing with many things as my eyes widened in shock. Killian's lips were on mine. His eyes were closed as he kissed me. I felt my legs feel weak under my blanket while he held me close. My body didn't resist, and nor did my heart. I kissed him back.

I let go of the blanket to grip his forearm. He sat up more as we kissed. His lips felt soft as a pillow, but this was so wrong.

"Mia Bella.." He whispered against my lip before recounting them.

I tried to keep up with him, but the way he was moving and how he was moving was too fast. He kissed me hungrily as if he'd been waiting for this moment. I sigh at the thought.

"Killian, s-stop," I mumble.

"No," He groans.

He ignores my plea, moving down my neck to my arm. I close my eyes, trying to fight the satisfaction of his leaving me in. What is going on with me? While we made out, I slowly – yet quietly – reached for my phone. I peek one eye open and text Race.

Once I hit send, Killian lips reacted with mine, giving me the chance to put the phone back under my pillow. It was wrong, and my heart ached from it, but something in my gut, my head told me to do it. I can't be with someone that I take care of. I could lose my job.

"K-Killian." I stutter, feeling his hand travel down my back, leaving a burning sensation.

"Mia Bella." He mumbles.

It takes us a minute to come back down from our high.

"You don't know how long I've been waiting for that..to claim you. To make you mine." His?

"Yours?" I repeated, letting go of his forearm.

"Mine's." His hand found my cheek.

No, butterflies stay down!

I sigh and move my cheek away from his hand. The feeling of his hot hand leaving as coldness hits it. "No, Killian, I am not yours."

He frowns. "You are mine. No one can touch what I kissed."

"I am not yours." I shake my head. When is Race coming?

"Yes."

"No."

"Yes."

"No."

"Ye–" He gets cut off by a knock that echoes throughout my apartment.

Removing my blankets, I hopped out of bed, hearing Killian growl under his breath. I watched as he got out of bed. The fear in me comes out. I rushed towards his side and grabbed his wrist.

"Whose that?" Jealous rings through his voice, snapping his head towards me.

"It's nobody." Another knock enters. I closed my eyes.

"It doesn't sound like nobody, Mia Bella." He grits.

Oh my–NO!

"I promise you." I go to wrap my arms around his neck as I stand on my tippy toes.

His eyes examined my face before speaking. "If you say so, Mia Bella."

"See, now let me go get rid of them. Okay?" I force a smile.

"Mhm." He leans in and pecks my lips, patting my butt.

Stop it, Butterflies.

"I'll be back."

I let go of him, scrambling to my front door. I release a breath in sight of opening my door to reveal Race with too big bodyguards by his side.

"Where is he?" Race asked, walking inside my apartment with the bodyguards trailing behind him.

"My room," I point. "But please be careful with Killian." Race nods.

"I'm serious."

"Don't worry." He snaps his fingers, singling the bodyguards to get him. "We got him."

I let go of Race's wrist and sat on the couch. The sound of the door slamming open caused Killian to yell for me. I covered my ears while closing my eyes. I knew it was wrong, but I needed my job. Killian wouldn't be safe here anyway.

More chaos ran through my apartment before it quieted down. I looked up to see one of the bodyguards drag a knocked-out Killian out of my apartment. My heart ached again, guiltiness swelling up within me.

"Race, is he okay?" He nods.

"Don't worry," He puts a reassuring hand on my shoulder. "He won't cause any more trouble with you. I can promise you that."

"And my job?"

"Safe." He crosses his fingers.

"And you won't tell the boss?"

"Quiet as a mouse." He zips his lips.

"Okay." I nod, standing up from the couch.

Race waves goodbye with the other bodyguard trailing behind him, closing my front door. My heart screamed at me, but I ignored it.

Touching my lips, I still felt his.

"I'm sorry."
