Year 2537. 13th October. Friday. 17:36 (5:36pm)

It seems like teh time for humanity has come. Years of slowly destrying their planet earth has started to come back to them and slowly pulling them down with it. It was all falling apart. Citys getting floaded forests getting burned down the temperature getting hotter. People for no reason were losing either sanity or empathy. To say the least the humanity was getting fucked by their own planet. Demons in hell laughting and Angels in heaven crying at the situation.

There was only a little of the population left, the big citys in countries were now like a desert. the air thic. No hope left. They all bringed it onto themselfs.

In a little hellhole called by it's owners visitors and civils a "village" was baely standing. Nor floading or fires were the problem here but hunger. It was dry here which didn't let the fruits or vegetanles grow. The farm animals didn't had food, chickes didn't gave eggs cown didn't gave milk, The pigs were skinny and weak. People came into the church praying and begging God for forgiveness but the God didn't seem to care. It was God after all he could see that the regret on their faces wasn't equal in their hearts.

As always people were in church praying begging on their knees kissing the cross. Whaiting for Father Nicholas to come and pray with them, he was the only priest who didn't left them and didn't just go somewhere else when the situation might have been better. As he came to the church all sweaty. It was pure hot that day. Unlike the priests earlier, erlier when the world was diffrent he wasn't wearing the usual black gown but straight up in sandals and a t-shirt. It was too hot and the situation was too bad for anyone to care, a priest is a priest after all its better than nothing. He came into the church people bowing to him as he walked pass them and crouched infront of the cross.

"May the God forgive us one day..." -he mummbled but the echo made everyone hear him
"Its not our fault!" -One of the people yelled out. Tears in her eyes. She was known for speaking her mind and being brutally honest. Hardly ever someone believed her.

"Eliza..." -Father Nicholas turned to her. Sweating and visibly annoyed. The other people look up from the ground and stare at him
"Yes?" -Eliza responded a small chill send down her spine.
"Shut the fuck up" -Father Nicholas harshly responded as he got up from the ground and stood infront of the believers with a bible in his hands. This was all they got, still better than nothing.
Meanwhile Eliza got visbly offended and stood up than run out of the church. No one ever listened to her and if they did they didn't agree with her. She ran trought the hot streets towards the only brige in this little hellhole and kicked it in anger.
"FUCK YOU! FUCK YOU! FUCK YOU! YOU SWEATY FUCKING SMARTASS BITCH!" -She yelled out to the air. Meanwhile someone was sitting under the bridge, the person flinched and sighted in annoyance.
"Can't she find another bridge to kick when she's angry? I'm trying to pray..." -The person mummbled to themself. Eliza heard them and gor more pissed. She kicked teh bridge again and walked away stomping hard on the ground.

The person or Chris as he was nammed flinched again as Eliza kicked the bridge. Despite the snarky comment he made he wasn't so brave and wouldn't made that comment if he was face to face with Eliza, oh fuck no. He didn't got the guts to. Chris held a wooden cross in his hands and looked infront of him, the river was calm today which was rare but pleasing. He knew that his father will scold him for not attending church today and praying alone but his introverted ass couldn't stand being with so many people in one room for such a long time.

He fet his eyes getting heavy. He must have gotten too tired after hours of sitting on the hard ground and praying. He put the cross away and layed down on the grass. Looking at the sky that was weirdly peaceful today as well as the lake. It was too good to be true, this day was too damm peacefull- he tought. But why not enjoy it if days like this happen so rarely? Praying can whait. Laying tehre he could see the sky and a piece of the bridge his head was few seconds ago under. So peacefull, if only it wasn't so hot Today.

He felt his body begin to relax and his eyes were slowly closing. It won't hurt if hetakes a nap right now, right? Just a little nap and he can go back to praying. He closed his eyes and opened them again after a while hsi vision a little blurry beacuse of teh sleepyness, he could see someone comming to the bridge and observe the water. Another blink, he closed his eyes for a while and opened them again now seeing another person comming up to the bridge. Anotehr blink he saw the two people observing the water toghter, his vison too blury and his brain too tired to recognize those people. *Blink* He saw the otehr person put a hand on ther other one's shoulder. *Blink*... The person was whispearing to the other one's ear.

Blink...

His eyes closed as quick as they opened when he heard a loud splash next to him. He got up and turned his head to the lake. It was Eliza she was in the water. Alive but not moving. Drowning...

"HOLY FUCK!" He jumped and ran towards the lake almost falling into it. He closed his eyes and jumped.... Or he didn't jumped? Opening his eyes he found himself still standing. His head turned around only to see a gray eye and a piece of pale skin. Chris got pale. Who was it? Was this person holding him?

"Nah uh not so fast"  Someone's voice spoke up so chearfully and calmly.
