*Hane's POV*
This was bad. Really bad.
Almost as bad as before piano exams.
Or performances.
No, it was worse.
Niall took my hand as he led me through the back entrance to the hotel and up the fire exit stairs. We met no-one on the way.
Which was probably a good thing. I was a mess. I don't know why I was so worked up and worried, pffft wasn't as if I was meeting four of my favourite band members or anything, who also happened to be Niall's best mates, nooooo, not at all.
I can be so sarcastic sometimes I am just too hilarious.
Eventually we reached a door. I could hear a low rumble of music or voices coming from behind it, I couldn't quite figure out which yet. Niall paused, and squeezed my hand comfortingly. "Don't worry",he whispered, "they'll love you. Honestly." And with that, he took out his key, and opened the door.
It was havoc inside. The TV was on, Harry was cooking in the small kitchenette thing, Louis was doing some kind of weird Asian dance moves following the TV, Liam was playing on an iPad thing and Zayn was sprawled over the couch on his phone.
Only when the door shut and Niall strolled further into the room (dragging me along with him, as I had suddenly become even more shy (this is not my normal state I hasten to add)) did they notice we were here. "Hey guys!" Niall exclaimed, "This is Hane. Hane, meet everyone. You know who they are haha.." He trailed off awkwardly.
And then all eyes were on me.
I felt like I was being judged, examined.
I squeezed Niall's hand tighter. Cranky mother of mushrooms, they didn't like me already. What was I going to do? My feelings for Niall, and whatever was happening between us (we hadn't broached that subject yet) weren't just going to go away. They HAD to like me, otherwise I was, effectively, doomed as far as being accepted was concerned.
Harry spoke first whilst continuing to cook. "Hello Hane. It's nice to finally meet you.. We've heard a lot about you." I must have shown my alarm on my face, because Louis stepped in.
Literally. He stepped over to me, shouting "Welcome Hane!", before engulfing me in a hug. I broke into a huge smile of relief.
"You're right Niall, she looks adorable when she smiles" Liam spoke up, smiling as he made his way over to me to say hello. I blushed furiously at his comment, glaring at Niall who smirked back, feigning innocence.
Finally Zayn got up, and held out his hand. "I'll be expecting Niall's jumper back you know, we shared that one.." He laughed, a twinkle in his eye before holding his hand out for me to shake.
So maybe I over-exaggerated a little before. Maybe they might just like me.
ERMAGERD.
I was sitting here in One Direction's hotel room, say whaaaat?!
-----
Soon enough, I started to relax. Niall still kept me close enough to him for comfort at all times, although I knew he could tell I was opening up a bit more.
Currently we were sitting around the coffee table, pieces of pizza (that Harry had made whilst I arrived) scattered everywhere whilst playing 20 questions. Of course, Niall and I knew tons about each other already, but the boys were curious. So basically it was interrogation time for me. Yaaay. *sense sarcasm*
"Favourite colour?" Harry. "Grey"I replied."
"Favourite book?"Liam. "To kill a mockingbird", he smiled at my response. Go me woo!
