Thulir's POV
He was busy cooking, so I went to the room to take a bath. At this moment, I can't seem to find any of the items I packed. Instead, my lingerie trolley with a few of his shirts, T-shirts, undergarments, track pants, and shorts. It's the only trolley in the room. And now, he claims that the second honeymoon was merely an excuse to persuade our family. Agathiyan is quite clever, always having the perfect rebuttal for every question. He seems to have come well-prepared.
Initially, I thought of wearing one lingerie but something stopped me so I took one of his tshirt and track pants.....
After taking a bath, I changed and went to the hall, drying my hair. He had already set the table and was waiting for me, scrolling through his mobile....
I took the chair beside him, and he began serving me Paruppu Sadam, Potato Fry, and Appalam—wow.... He then stood up and started drying my hair....hmmm I like this pampering though
I dug in... and yes, it's even yummier than I expected... Agathiyan has always been skilled at cooking, especially since he was the first in our family to go to another state for college. He and his friends rented a room, and he was the one who did most of the cooking, so he learned to cook before any of us....
"Hmm If all the husbands decide to correct the change in their behavior with their wife after long years of marriage.....I think the asteroid missed this year might have succeeded in the task that had in destroying the earth.....what you say Agathiya"
I said licking my fingers and moaning at the taste of it.....he stopped and narrowed his eyes at me...
"Truth sometimes become unacceptable Agathiya.....because more than 90% of men became ignorant and indifferent towards their wife after certain years of married life...and never tries to mend it because that doesn't matter to them
It is said that one study indicates the happiest individuals are single women and married men.
Moreover, if a husband dies before his wife, the wife's lifespan tends to increase, whereas if a wife dies before her husband, the husband's lifespan tends to decrease.
If you look it closely you realize how true it is"
I said serving him who sat next to me...he signed
"If you want to taunt me you can do that directly Thulir what is the need of such studies results?"
He expressed his displeasure, clearly unhappy with what I had said.....I smiled and served him the potato fry and he himself took two appalams
"I'm not mocking you, Agathiya. I'm expressing how fortunate I feel to have someone like you who makes an effort to correct things when they go wrong—a rarity indeed. I am truly proud of you, and in fact, the credit goes to my mamiyar"
"Perima and Athai"
"No Agathiya.....My mother in law.....the sweetest Mrs. Innisai Aadhiran"
I said looking at him with a beaming smile, to which he simply hummed in response. I wonder what happened to him, could something be bothering him?
"Agathiyaa..."
I called him....he took a deep breath...
"Finish the food first Thulir then we will go outside to roam around this place hmm"
He spoke and then focused on his meal... Oh, now he's trying to change the subject... I wonder how long it will take for sir to open up... I have no idea... Could it be related to mama athai? It might be... But I don't want to assume anything until he speaks... With that thought, I turned my attention back to my plate...
