Your pov~~

Ugh, there's nothing better than to come late to school on my first day. Great, just great. At least I live close, that's a bonus. Right..? Anyways, I made my way to my class, which I found after half an hour because SOMEONE is too stupid. I knocked on door, and after a little pause the teacher called out. I slowly pushed the door open and glanced at my new classmates before speaking to the teacher.

"Sorry miss, I uh.. Couldn't find my class." I spoke, it was the truth, just not all of it. Wouldn't hurt anyone, right? The teacher sighed but nodded in understanding.

"It's quite alright, just don't make a habit of it. Well, now that you got here you might as well introduce yourself to others. I'm sure they're curious about their new classmate." I paused at her words. Speaking in front of the whole class? Is she crazy? I'm sure she is. Anyways, I turned back to my classmates, nervously glancing at them as I slowly spoke.

"I-I'm y/n l/n, I'm 16 years old and I came from Woodstock." The biggest hellhole to ever exist.. Seriously, there's literally NOTHING. Everything is so far away you'd be damned without a functioning car. Not even buses are there..

I heard a scoff from someone from the back. Did I say something wrong? Or is it some asshole who just spotted their new target? I ignored it for the time being, my thoughts being rudely interrupted by the teacher speaking.

"Very well, you may sit next to Simon, Simon please raise your hand." I looked towards the boy named Simon, who, with an eye roll lazily raised his hand. He, along with other three boys next and behind him had some masks on their heads, not on their faces though, just on their heads. He had what seemed like a yellow chicken? I don't know, it looked weird for my taste.

I made my way to my seat next to him, placing my bag next to my desk. I could feel his stare on me, but I didn't dare to look back at him. I was too of a pussy to look back. I could feel other stares on the back of my head. Not talking about the boy with a fox mask which sat behind me, giving me the biggest, and most annoyed stare I ever felt in my entire life. I could feel myself getting goosebumps, but I tried to pay attention on the teacher and the lesson.

--Time skip, end of the lesson--

The bell rang and the students began to pack their stuff and leave the class. I was grabbing my bag when someone bumped into me.

"Watch out you damn fatty." An angry voice said to me, raising my head up I saw a boy with brown hair and a fox mask, snarling at me. That's the boy who sits behind me, just amazing..

"You bumped into me, not otherwise." I said in defense as his eyes pierced through mine. Either he drank piss from the toilet or he was the biggest jerk to exist. Probably both.

"Are you mocking me? Who the hell you think you are?" He said angrily, taking a step closer to me. Before I could say anything a girl, just a little taller than I, got between the both of us, pushing the boy away.

"Leave her alone, Mike. She's just minding her own business, you should too." The girl said, her voice soft and calm, yet it sounded stern. Like she was fed up with him. The boy scoffed before leaving the class too. Mike huh?.. I know so many boys named Michael, what's up with that name? Be original people, it's not that hard.

The girl turned to be, a now apologetic expression on her face.
"Sorry, he and his group are not the nicest people here, you should avoid them. I'm Janice by the way, nice to meet you." A smile on her face as she spoke. I smiled too, being grateful for meeting at least one friendly person.

"Yeah, thanks. I'll keep that I'm mind, and I'm y/n as I said before. Nice to meet you too."
