Jungkook gulped down the wine, and the burning in his throat scorched him; he did not care. The burning in his throat was nothing compared to what had been done to his reputation in the day. He could feel the heat of alcohol running in his veins, which temporarily distracted him from the reality that was soon spiraling out of control. That damnable Taehyung had done something so brazenly outrageous that Jungkook still didn't know how to deal with it.

He was sitting in the dimly lit room, with shadows dancing around him on the walls and making his reflection appear almost menacing. His features were set in a scowl, candlelight flickering and highlighting the tension etched on his forehead. "JK, enough. You have a shooting tomorrow," Jungkook's manager, Hoseok exclaimed with concern as he reached out to take the wine glass from Jungkook's grasp. Jungkook shot him a deadly glare as his temper flared.

"...pretty guy. On one side, there's audacity, and on the other side, we have the pretty guy," he muttered bitterly, the memories of earlier flooding back uninvited. He subconsciously touched his face, feeling the remnants of the confrontation, and gritted his teeth in rage. The humiliation of the day played on a loop in his mind.

"I won't spare him..." he snarled, the words dripping with venom as they left his lips.

Hoseok's brow furrowed, a flicker of fear crossing his face at Jungkook's ferocity. "JK, you've already taken enough revenge. His father is in serious condition and may very well die without the surgery they can't afford. Just let go and focus on your career," he muttered, trying to sound suggestive yet firm, hoping to pull Jungkook back from the edge he was teetering on.

"Serious condition?" Jungkook asked.

"Yes, he is suffering from quite severe head trauma after you got him beaten up. The surgery is expensive for them to afford. He will eventually die," Hoseok told him.

"That's not pretty guy father. He is a basterd! He better die for pretty guy's good." Jungkook snorted casually taking another sip.

"What?" Hoseok looked at him, confused.

"You know I run a background check on pretty boy, I thought it will be typical boring life story of a middle class boy. But I was wrong, It's more twisted than any thriller film I have worked. You know that Park is an asshole and he's just using pretty boy. Pretty boy should have thanked me that I helped him to get rid of that bastard and his puppet Lucus. But no, he has to ruin my reputation" Jungkook muttered the last line with bitterness.

"JK---"

Just as Jungkook's thoughts were taking a crazy spin, his phone buzzed. He rushed towards grabbing it, and his heart was racing with the wave of fear he saw in one of the notifications that made his stomach plunge into free fall. The pictures of Taehyung punching him had leaked; he could only imagine the mayhem that was going to break loose.

He tapped the notification, terror dripping in his chest as he prepared himself for what he was about to see. His heart dropped even further as another popped up---this article featured a picture of him with Taehyung. The snap of him got Taehyung grabbing his collar, but the angle was distorted, done to give the impression that they were kissing.

His head and the mind were racing with disgust and anger while reading the article.
