Angelina and Cayden both turned and spotted the pale girl from before standing there.

"What about you," Angelina asked in a concerned tone.

"What about me," Fae asked.

"You can't seriously consider staying here, and allow yourself to mate with that scary looking guy. He looks like he's worse than Connor," Angelina said ignoring Cayden's stern look. Don't you want to escape from this place?"

"I can't. I have been promised to that man. If I escape, he will not only go after my family, but he will hunt me down until he finds me, and drags me back here," Fae explained. "How dd you two outsiders manage to find this place anyway? We aren't very welcoming here. Though you both just witnessed the reason why we're not so welcoming of outsiders."

"But why do you guys put up with that? Why constantly put up with living in fear all the time," Angelina asked.

"I think it would be best that the two of you get out of this town before the dark lord comes. Never come back here again, if you know what is good for you," Fae said before turning on her heel and walking away.

Angelina watched until Fae was gone. She turned to look at Cayden with a worried look on her face. "Cayden, we have to do something to help that girl."

"You heard what she said. If we try and help her escape from this town, she will be hunted down. That creepy guy, he most likely will kill people until he gets her back. Let's just get out of here before that creepy guy comes and kills you and I for hanging around his woman," Cayden said while pulling Angelina away. Cayden pulled Angelina all the way back to where the bike was parked.

Angelina struggled to break free of Cayden's grip. "Cayden you can't seriously expect me to forget about that innocent girl, who is obviously afraid of that guy. We can't leave her there to be mated to him."

"There is nothing we can do to save her. The best that we can do is by getting as far away from this place, and forget everything that we saw here. It's for the best, that way we aren't tempted to come back here and do something stupid that will piss off one of the locals around here. Now get on the bike, before I go and make the decision to leave you here and head back to Lupine Ridge without you," Cayden snapped at Angelina.

Angelina climbed onto the bike without another word to Cayden, as he climbed on the bike after, starting it and making his way away from the small town known as Moonlight Valley.

I can't leave that girl there to mate with that man. Maybe I can sneak up to the mountain and speak with Connor about that town, and everything that I have seen taken place there. Maybe Connor can save that young girl, Angelina thought to herself.

Cayden made it back to Lupine Ridge, making his way to John and Clara's home, where he spotted John, Clara and Connor sitting around outside as he and Angelina pulled up, climbing off the bike.

"Well, if it isn't Cayden and Angelina. Did y'all enjoy your trip outside of Lupine Ridge," John asked.

"It was quite different from Lupine Ridge," Angelina said.

"She really enjoyed the views of the cities we traveled to," Cayden explained.

"Yeah," Angelina agreed. "John, do you mind if I ask you something in private?"

"I don't think John would be much help. Your best bet would be to talk to Clara. She's the only woman here who can help you," Connor said, causing John to laugh.

"Thank you for pointing out the obvious, Connor. But that isn't what I need to speak to John about in private," Angelina said.

"John also isn't interested. He's happily married," Connor spoke up again.
