Something about today was a little going to be a little hard for Ren, and honestly she wasn't sure if it was going to be the UA entrance exam or her father being a pest about it.

He doesn't want her going to that school, even if she was only going for gen ed or the support course. She thinks the reason is because her mom went there years ago and that's where they met, he went there too. So full of bitter memories now for him, and sure she felt bad but she wants this.

It'd be a waste if she didn't try, for her mom.

With that said, today was the day for her to push the limit and place first in the exam and solidify her spot in that school and she wasn't nervous about doing that. She always knew she would do good, every kid in her class was always hyping her up. She would show up any other person on this exam and her flames were almost blazing with her excitement.

The whole journey there she was rushing to get there, get registered, and with that she was one of the few early students. As time kept going thousands of students her age filed into the auditorium waiting for the instructions, she couldn't sit still.

Eventually the loud pro known as Present Mic introduced himself and went on explaining the practical exam, assuming all of them had done the prior written exam to be allowed here now.

"ALRIGHT LISTENERS! Today your practical exam for UA will involve a mock battle in multiple city scapes to make sure everyone from the same schools will be scored separately," The blonde hero spoke, "There are three main targets for you to destroy to gather points, all will have a number stating how much it is worth-"

A Blue haired boy stood up and interupted the hero speaking with a question and weird arm movements, that made Ren question if he was a secret robot, "Sir! There are four enemies listed on the handout and you've only spoken about three! Are you going to be mentioning the fourth one?" The boy went on to start reprimanding some kids in the crowd about their 'distracting' behavior.

"Thank you examinee 1039! Those are called zero pointers, worth no points only there to be more of an obstacle! If I were you, I would just avoid that one as much as possible!" Present mic spoke with so much enthusiasm Ren could feel it bouncing off the walls. With that little lecture over the students split into their groups and onto busses and off to their exam sight.

Ren was bubbling with excitement, itching for a good fight, ready to put all these losers in their place and show them what a true hero was.

Seems like another kid was feeling the same way with his explosive red eyes gazing over the crowd he was in with a look of distain, Ren was really looking forward to wiping the floor against him.

There was no warning or count down for them to start, so Ren made the simple decision of they weren't supposed to wait just go. Since when you're a hero there is no time to wait, only to save.

Running ahead of the group and she turns into her flame form, flying off so fast the others could barely react. A sharp grin grows on her face seeing robots around with numbers, no time to wait and she starts sending big balls of flames to melt the bots. It took a few tries to find the best way to break them, but once she did no time was left to mess around.

She did hear that same blonde kid screaming "Die!" a lot following that would be and explosion, seems he had acted around the same time as her.

The ten minutes felt like one to her and she did see the big 0p bot but she avoided it, no point in it. But when Present Mic screamed out that time was up she flew back to the ground, extinguishing her flames with a fiery smile to match. She felt good about her results, she didn't bother to keep count if she was honest.

An old women was walking around after she got back to the main school with a bag filled with little candies and she stopped Ren before the girl could leave, "Here dear, have a few candies. They'll help with your energy."

"Thank you, ma'am," Ren spoke politely. Eating the candy really did give her a shot of energy, enough to make it home and take nice long bath to cool down.

She wasn't expecting her father to ask about today and she was alright with that.

Ren was happy with how she preformed today and she couldn't wait for the letter to come in the mail, it was going to be a long week of waiting. So, Ren decided to throw herself into the rest of the school year to stay the top student and took her training up another level.

There was no real place for her to train her quirk at home for a plethora of reasons, but they did have their own gym curtesy of her mother when she was alive. Every day after class she would be lifting and going for runs, endurance is key. Sometimes she would go deep into the country though to practice flying around and coming up with new ways to form her flames.

Lately she's been trying to form weapons out of her flames, since she could form spheres as she showed in the exam what was stopping her to form a staff or even a sword? Ren was struggling with keeping the weapon last, forming the staff was using a lot more energy than she had been. Which brought her back to the gym and working on endurance, hopefully when she get's into UA she can work on endurance training with her quirk activated. It would make the entire process easier, but for now this was all she could do.

A week had passed, her father barely spoke to her and Ren trained non stop. She wouldn't say this to anyone but her she was a little anxious with waiting for the results. But when she got home from her run there was an envelop in the mail box with the UA emblem, it had came.

She sprinted to her room and ripped it open, and heard the disk drop which started playing immediatley.

"Young Ozaki, it is me, All Might! Here to tell you the results of your written and practical exam for the UA hero course," the number one hero spoke in a loud enthuastic tone and her jaw was dropped at the giant hero on the hologram. "You passed the written portion with outstanding scores, and as for your practical exam... You passed with an astounding 75 villian points! You and one other student passed with only those points, there were rescue points you could get but clearly you made it possible without!"

"Now Ren Ozaki, I welcome you to your new start at in the hero course, class 1A." All Might finished and Ren was staring at the blank wall after it shut off with misty eyes.

She had gotten in all by herself and she knew she would.
