We kissed even more after that. I felt my lips numb that I wanted to yield defeat for the first time in my life. Pero agad niya rin naman napansin 'yon at tumigil na. He stayed for a couple of minutes dahil pagod daw siya at kung ano-ano pang naisip na gawin sa condo.

"What room is this?" tanong nito sabay turo sa unang pintong makikita sa condo ko.

My unit was not that extravagant. I just wanted a comfortable place to stay before, and I found this. It's the perfect place for me, it's compact and the facilities are good, even the security. It's not that small though because I still paid more than forty million for this. Actually, hindi ko pa nga tapos bayaran.

My income was good but not comparable with this man beside me. The money I used to pay for this unit still came from my father. Inubos ko ang laman ng isang card na binigay niya sa akin. Nabayaran ko na nang nalaman niya, pero binigay niya sa akin iyon para gastusin ko? I spent it wisely.

Tsaka anak niya ako. It's given.

It's just... I didn't use my savings for this.

Too smart for that.

"That's a powder room, Rohen." sagot ko habang naka-sunod sa likod niya. My hands are on my back, like a supervisor supervising her employee.

He nodded silently before he continued walking and stopped in front of another door. Lumingon siya sa akin. He still looked disheveled and his hair was a bit messy, but I didn't bother to tell him. I like it. There's a part of me that's delighted everytime I see him, not all formal.

But I like all of his looks. He's still a magnificent being whatever he wears or does.

O, Cali... you're doomed.

"This is?" turo niya doon.

Umalon ang dibdib ko dahil sa malalim na pahinga at bahagyang lumapit sa gilid niya, from my place I tried to open the door for him. It revealed my office. "My office, I tend to work and bring my files in my house." paliwanag ko. Alam kong naiintindihan niya iyon, siguro naman naranasan niya dati?

He pressed his lips together. His eyes were wandering inside. Napatingin rin tuloy ako. There's just two floor to ceiling bookshelves, of course from my readings before. Ang iba ay galing kay Daddy at Grandpa. A white table and a chair in the middle. Practically, that's it.

"It's a nice working place." puri nito kahit walang binatbat ang office ko sa opisina niya sa hacienda. Ano pa kaya kung meron rin siya sa mansyon nila?

Naglakad na ito muli kaya sumunod ulit ako sa kanya. Balak niya atang tignan lahat ng kwarto dito. Bumaling siya muli sa akin nang makakita siya ng panibagong pinto.

"Open it," pahintulot ko dahil wala na akong balak ipagbukas pa siya ng maraming pinto.

He sucked all of my energy earlier at wala nang natira para i-accommodate ko pa siya sa mga naiisip niyang gawin. He obliged and turned the door handle only to reveal my bedroom. I pursed my lips and peeked on his side to check too. Baka magulo pala bago ako umalis kanina.

Nakahinga naman ako nang makitang maayos. My scent welcomed us when he opened the door. He must've noticed it because he swallowed hard and his adams apple moved up and down.

Bago pa ako makapagsalita ay sinulyapan niya lang iyon ng mabilis at sinara na ang pinto. Napa-atras ako dahil doon. His face was expressionless before he turned to me.

"I just checked your place. It's better to be safe." he explained. Napatango naman ako, wala namang problema sa akin. "I-I'm going home..." paalam niya na.
