No one's povXavier stepped out of the cooking class, feeling a sense of euphoria wash over him. It was as if the entire world had come alive around him, and everything was bathed in a warm, golden light.
He honestly couldn't believe it. Danny, the beautiful man he had been pining for for months, had actually agreed to go on a date with him. And now they just had their second date too??.
Xavier knew what he was doing taking them to a cooking class, Danny had always been fascinated by the art of cooking-something he and his brothers shared an interest in-, and the idea of sharing that experience with someone him was incredibly exciting to him.
As he walked out of the studio, Xavier couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and accomplishment. He had been nervous about asking Danny out for like the millionth time, but it had paid off.
They both had spent the evening laughing and chatting, learning how to make a delicious French dish from scratch. It had been like they were in their own little world, completely unaware of anything else around us and that alone created a wonderful memory for Xavier that he never wants to forget.
Xavier took a deep breath as he stepped out into the cool evening air. The sun was setting over the city, casting a golden glow over everything. It was as if the world was celebrating their date, and he felt like he was walking on air.
He didn't know this was what people In love felt, he didn't know this was what his friends Ada and Landon were experiencing but he loved it.
As he walked back to his car, he couldn't help but replay the evening in my head. From the moment they walked into the studio, he had felt a sense of ease and comfort around Danny. It was like we had been lovers for years and not just trying out this dating thing.
They had laughed and joked as they chopped vegetables and sautéed meat. Danny had even cracked open a few jokes about Xavier's lack of cooking skills, and they both had found themselves laughing completely oblivious to the rest of the class. It had been like they knew each other well enough to pass off as lovers and not friends who were just on their second date.
As they cooked, Xavier had caught glimpses of Danny's smile, and it had taken his breath away, he hadn't seen Danny smile so hard especially around him and it warmed his heart. It was like Danny was shining from the inside out, radiating warmth and kindness. And when he had looked at Xavier, Xavier felt like he was home.
He really had deep feelings for the other man, he was in love.
As they had finished up their meal and sat down to eat it together, Xavier knew that it was moments like this he wanted to talk about to people, their kids- he hopefully wishes they'll get to have at some point-.
He went home and had gone to bed, thoughts and images of Danny never leaving his head.
He went as far as to have dreams about the other man.
...........
Xavier took a deep breath as he sat down in the coffee shop, trying to calm my nerves. His two best friends, Ada and Landon, were sitting across from me, holding hands and looking like they were on top of the world.
They were dating, and Xavier was thrilled for them, the three have been friends since they were 8 but over the years the two became more than friends but they didn't let that come between their friendship, they treated Xavier like he was their child, at one point people thought they were a throuple.
He smiled at them, but, he was also nervous about what he was about to tell them.
"Guys, I need to talk to you about something," he said, trying to sound casual.
