Knock knock knock.
My breath quickens as I knock on my mentor-to-be's office door. Why was I so nervous? I wore casual jeans with rips on the knees, my (F/C) hoodie and my black vest.
"Who is it?" Oh god I'm feeling light headed. What do I do??
"Umm,*cough* I-it's (Y/N) sir. I'm your student training to become an agent of the FBI Sir," I think I handled that pretty well.
He walks to the door, unlocks it and blocks my view of his office with his body.
"Oh, hello (Y/N)." He smiles at me slightly looking genuinely happy. He invited me into his office which I gladly took up the offer. It had a small desk with what seems like evidence for the case strewn out on the desk with sheets of paper on the walls and floor. He locked the door with a small silver key dropping it in his pocket. He smirked at me as I bit my thumb nail nervously looking at the floor. He approached me lifting my chin up gently still grinning.
"We're going to have to fix your confidence." He mumbled almost to himself.
"Umm sir...?" I asked when he still kept eye contact and very rarely blinked.
"Oh-sorry (Y/N)" he coughed nervously and dropped my chin.
I gasped when i noticed the blood trickling down his upper lip.
"Shit not now...!" I heard him mumble in distress. I pulled my sleeve over my fingers and gently whipped away the blood.
"Sir, your turning rather pale..." I frowned. This obviously has happened before because of what he said. When I finished, I pulled back and he grinned at me.
"Your kind of cute you know."
Than he collapsed to the floor.I panicked and attempted to open the door to get help for him, but it was locked.
I began searching his pockets for the key, as I retrieve it he grabs my wrist sitting up.
"Don't."
"Look at you! You clearly aren't well Jayden, you need help!"
"I'm fine, chill. I'm cool it happens all the time."
I stared at him, examining his pale face. His eyes where pleading me not to go.
"B-But, you just passed out for 2 minutes!" I protested but failing.
"If the God damn police find out about this, I'll get fired. So let's just say this never happened." He looked me sternly In the eye and raised an eyebrow awaiting my answer.
"Okay than. But don't say I didn't help you sir." I mumble."Hey Jay, the new chick in there?" A male voice asked outside the locked door.
"Yeah Blake, her name is (Y/N)," he helped me of the floor from where he collapsed. "I'll be her mentor training her to become in agent in the FBI by letting her work on the Origami Case with me." He stated to the lieutenant as he unlocked the door. I stood back enough to get a glimpse of Blake's face. Good job I got stuck with Jayden I silently laughed at myself.
"Hello Lieutenant, I'm (Y/N)" I introduce myself and hold out my hand.
"Well Jay, you've certainly picked up a cutie!" He winks at me and I force a smile. I caught a glimpse of Jayden who looked.... Jealous..? I stood back placing my hands behind my back.
"If you excuse me sir, I take my work seriously and I would prefer if you wouldn't flirt with me." I smiled and turned to Jayden.
"When can we start?" I asked winking at him. The corner of his lip tugged up into a side smile.
"We can start now." He stated and shooed the very shocked lieutenant out of his office.AN:
