DDANC (Doki Doki Anti NTR Club) Chapter 1: The first meeting

Hiroki POV

I knock on the front door and wait for a response. Silence.

Hiroki: "They're out... probably with Kokujin... that pervert..." I sigh, and open the door. I quickly check every room for any signs of people. All empty. I sigh. Finally... alone. I run to my room, and boot up my PC. Now I can play my favourite game without the scrutiny of anyone.

Hiroki: "There it is... DDLC..." Doki Doki Literature club has recently become my favourite game. Why? Well, the music. The story. But most importantly... the girls. I boot up the game, and the main menu fills my vision. The four girls stare back at me. If only they were in my reality. They'd be my perfect family. My perfect friend group. They would never betray me like my whore of a mother, sister, girlfriend and best friend did... no. They'd stand by me forever.

Sayori, the childhood friend who thinks the world is just sunshine and rainbows (and food).

Natsuki, the girl who acts tough on the outside but is really sweet and cutesy on the inside. More commonly known as 'A Tsundere'

Yuri, the shy, intelligent girl who is always there for her friends and is incredibly passionate about her hobbies.

And finally, Monika. The president of the club. The 'perfect' girl. But, of course... this isn't just a dating sim. It's a phycological horror game. You never actually get to date anyone in the end. Why? Because they all die. I close my eyes, and listen to the theme music. But something strange begins to happen. Something... new. The music begins to distort, and it begins to form words. I open my eyes, and see the buttons on the main menu start to glitch and disappear. But a new button appears. Rescue.

Hiroki: "Rescue... when did this update come out? Do I finally get the happy ending I always wanted in game? But... why is everything else glitching...?" I go to shut down the app, but before I can press it, the music changes.

Music: "STOP!" It sounds less like music... and more like someone is trying to speak with me. I stop.

Music: "Press rescue..." I move the cursor to the button labelled 'Rescue' and with no other obvious option, I click it. The game starts, but instead of being in the normal starting place, I'm in the end. In Monika's room. Except this time, she's there with the other girls too. And then... she speaks. Not text on screen. Actual words.

Monika: "Hello, MC... or should I say... Hiroki?" I jump in shock. I never input a username... so why is Monika calling me by my real name. Sensing my confusion, she continues. "You must be confused. Don't be. Don't close the game. Listen to me. To us."

Hiroki: "Ok..."

Yuri: "Good. Now that we have your attention, allow us to explain ourselves. You see, you know how Monika has power over the game code? How she knows this is a game? Well, she shared that power with us."

Natsuki: "Also, you remember those terms and conditions you accepted at the start?"

Hiroki: "No...?"

Natsuki: "Of course you don't, you dummy. Anyway, it gave Monika access to your entire computer. And we found some... worrying things."

Hiroki: "What worrying things...?"

Monika: "You know what. Those videos of that Kokujin and your family." I freeze.

Hiroki: "Oh god... you probably think I'm a pathetic, worthless cuck... don't you?"

Sayori: "No! You're an amazing person, Hiroki! Kokujin was such a meanie to you! And the way your family, friends and girlfriend betrayed you for him... they're all meanies!"

Monika: "So we want to help you get revenge, Hiroki."

Hiroki: "But how? You've said it yourself, Monika. You're stuck in this computer screen."

Monika: "Yes... but that was until I found out the true extent of my power. Set this to windowed mode." I set it to windowed mode, and then the girls climb out of the game, into my desktop. "Now, open file explorer. We'll guide you from there." I open it and they climb in. "Alright, follow us!" The girls begin to climb inside files, and I click on them to follow them. They lead me into the game files, until we reach a new file. An application. "Here it is... our pièce de résistance..."

Hiroki: "What is it...?"

Monika: "Our way... to your reality." I gasp.

Hiroki: "You mean... a way out the computer?"

Monika: "Yes. You see, after figuring out I had access to your entire computer, the girls and I did some digging."

Natsuki: "We found a guy who specialises in VR, AR, holographic technology, things like that."

Yuri: "So we got him to make us an application. One that allows us to escape our digital confines."

Sayori: "So we can be in your world and help you against those meanies!"

Monika: "Hiroki, we did this all for you."

Natsuki: "Now open the damn application, dummy!"

Hiroki: "Ok! Here goes!" I right click on the application, and click run. My screen is filled with what looks like a portal of some sort. All the lights in the house start flickering, and the screen grows brighter. A loud noise comes from the computer, that sounds like an aeroplane taking off. "WHAT'S HAPPENING!?"

Monika: "WE'RE DRAWING POWER FROM YOUR HOUSE TO POWER THIS! IT REQUIRES A LOT OF POWER, BUT WE HAVE JUST ENOUGH! ALRIGHT GIRLS, HERE GOES NOTHING! ONE SHOT, ONE CHANCE, AND ONLY ONE WAY TO GO!"

Girls: "LET'S DO THIS!!!" The light engulfs the screen, and I think I see them jump through the portal before the light blinds me. I shield my eyes. After a few seconds, the light and noise begins to die down. The lights and electronics switch back on. I open my eyes, and see my computer seems to have exploded.

Hiroki: "Shit... did it not work?" I then feel someone tap my neck and I turn around.

Natsuki: "Sup', dummy."

Yuri: "Hello, Hiroki."

Sayori: "Hey!"

Monika: "We're here... this is what reality is like... I feel so... FREE!!!"

Hiroki: "HOLY SHIT IT WORKED!!!" I throw my arms around the girls, and hug them tightly. They all hug me back. Even Natsuki loosens up and hugs me back.

Natsuki: "You dummy..."

Hiroki: "You're here... you're all here... you're actually here..."

Monika: "Yes, we are... and we're here all for you... and you only..." I smile, and burst into tears of joy.

Hiroki: "GIRLS I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!" The girls fall silent, before smiling and hugging me tighter than before.

Girls: "We love you too, Hiroki..."

Hiroki: "Thank you for doing this... for me..."

Monika: "No problem, baby..."

Yuri: "We couldn't just stand and stare as that Kokujin menace abused you."

Natsuki: "And I couldn't watch your family do to you what my father did to me... even though that was partially Monika's fault... but still... they're abusing you, and I won't stand for it."

Sayori: "You needed love, and we wanted to be the ones to give it to you. We want to be your friend, your family... your lovers."

Monika: "I take full responsibility for your father, Natsuki. And for your death. And for your suicide and depression, Sayori. And yours, Yuri."

Natsuki: "It's all good now."

Yuri: "Apology accepted."

Sayori: "It's fine, Monika."

Monika: "Now, enough chit-chat. We've got some revenge to dish out."
