The evening festivities were in full swing as the haldi ceremony gave way to vibrant dances and music under the stars. Fairy lights twinkled above, casting a soft glow over the courtyard where the guests gathered. Taehyung and Jungkook had cleaned up and changed into elegant, matching sherwanis—Taehyung in a rich shade of burgundy and Jungkook in deep navy. They looked like a picture-perfect couple, radiating love and happiness.

Jimin couldn’t help but smile as he watched them move through the crowd, hand in hand, occasionally stopping to greet friends and family. There was a natural ease between them, as if they were already so deeply intertwined that the ceremony was just a formality. Every glance they shared, every soft touch, spoke of a love that had been growing for years.

At one point, Taehyung pulled Jungkook to the side, just out of the main crowd, their hands still linked. Jungkook’s soft laughter echoed as Taehyung whispered something in his ear, his deep voice carrying only to Jungkook. The way Jungkook’s eyes sparkled in response, the way his lips curved into that shy smile that only Taehyung could bring out—it was clear how much they adored each other.

Taehyung brushed a strand of Jungkook’s hair back, his fingers lingering on his cheek. “You’re beautiful, you know that?”

Jungkook’s cheeks flushed, and he tried to hide his embarrassment with a grin. “Shut up,” he mumbled, though the affection in his voice was unmistakable.

Taehyung laughed softly, his thumb gently tracing Jungkook’s jawline. “You’re going to have to get used to me telling you that.”

Jungkook bit his lip, his eyes dropping for a moment before he looked up again, his expression softening. “I don’t think I’ll ever get used to it.”

Taehyung leaned in, pressing a gentle kiss to Jungkook’s forehead. “That’s okay. I’ll just have to keep reminding you.”

The moment felt so intimate, even in the midst of the bustling celebration around them. It was as if time had slowed down for them, their connection creating a quiet bubble where only they existed.

From a distance, Jimin watched, his heart swelling with happiness for his brother and his best friend. This was the kind of love people dreamed of—the kind that was pure, effortless, and unwavering.

As Jimin stood there, smiling to himself, Yoongi appeared beside him once again. He was quiet for a moment, watching Taehyung and Jungkook with an unreadable expression. Then, without turning to Jimin, he spoke.

“They’re good together, aren’t they?” Yoongi’s voice was softer now, lacking its usual playful edge.

Jimin nodded, his eyes still on the couple. “Yeah... they really are.”

Yoongi leaned against the pillar beside him, his hands in his pockets. “It’s rare to find something like that. I’ve seen it with them since the beginning. Even when they were just friends, it was obvious.”

Jimin glanced at Yoongi, surprised by the serious tone. He wasn’t used to seeing this side of him, and it threw him off a bit. “You knew them back then?”

“Not as well as you did, obviously,” Yoongi said with a small smile. “But I’ve been around long enough to see how they’ve grown together.”

Jimin turned back to Taehyung and Jungkook, watching as they swayed slightly, lost in their own world. “It’s kind of amazing, honestly. The way they just... fit.”

Yoongi nodded, his eyes following Jimin’s gaze. “It is.”

For a moment, they stood there in silence, both of them watching the couple they cared about so deeply. The music in the background shifted to a slower, more romantic tune, and Taehyung pulled Jungkook into a soft embrace, their foreheads resting against each other as they swayed gently to the rhythm.

Jimin’s heart clenched with emotion as he watched. It was such a perfect moment—one that felt like it was pulled straight out of a dream. The love between Taehyung and Jungkook was so palpable, so overwhelming, that it made everything else fade away.

Just then, Taehyung looked over and caught Jimin’s eye. He smiled warmly, then beckoned for Jimin to join them.

“Come on, Jimin!” Taehyung called, his voice full of joy. “You can’t just stand there watching!”

Jimin hesitated for a second, but before he could decline, Yoongi nudged him gently from behind.

“Go on,” Yoongi said, his usual smirk returning. “You can’t leave them hanging.”

With a reluctant smile, Jimin stepped forward, making his way over to where Taehyung and Jungkook were standing. Taehyung immediately threw an arm around Jimin’s shoulders, pulling him into the embrace.

“I’m so glad you’re here, Jiminie,” Taehyung said softly, his voice filled with warmth.

Jimin smiled, his arms wrapping around both Taehyung and Jungkook. “I wouldn’t miss this for the world.”

Jungkook chuckled, resting his head against Jimin’s shoulder for a moment. “Thanks for always being there for us, hyung.”

Jimin felt a lump form in his throat as emotion overwhelmed him. He squeezed them both tighter, his voice coming out a little shaky. “I’ll always be here for you two. Always.”

As they stood there, locked in a quiet embrace, Jimin realized just how important this moment was. It wasn’t just a wedding—it was the beginning of a beautiful future for Taehyung and Jungkook. And in that moment, Jimin knew that no matter what happened, he would always be by their side, supporting them in every way he could.

When they finally pulled back, Taehyung’s eyes sparkled with unshed tears. He wiped at them quickly, laughing softly. “I’m not crying. You’re crying.”

Jungkook nudged him playfully. “Yeah, sure.”

The three of them laughed, the moment filled with love and happiness.

From a distance, Yoongi watched the scene with a small smile on his face. There was something about the way Jimin fit so seamlessly with Taehyung and Jungkook, the way they all seemed to belong together, that made Yoongi’s heart ache just a little.

But before he could dwell on it, Jimin turned around, catching Yoongi’s eye. He smiled, his face still flushed with emotion, and for the first time since they’d met, Yoongi felt something shift between them—something unspoken, but undeniable.

As the night continued, the celebration only grew, and so did the strange connection between Jimin and Yoongi. It was subtle, almost imperceptible, but it was there. And for the first time in a long time, Jimin wasn’t sure how he felt about it.
