"Hi," I breathed when I saw him leaning on his car. He looked at me and smiled, waving a hand as he stood straight.

"Not tired?" he shook his head and then high-fived me as I stood close in front of him.

"Not really, was able to go home kind of early last night and just slept after devotion," I smiled and nodded at sinabayan na niya ako ng lakad papasok sa pastry sa shop.

When we entered the shop kanya kanya kami ng dating gawi sa tuwing nagpupunta siya rito. I smiled to myself when I saw him opening a few lights, walking to his favorite spot in the shop, putting his Bible on the table, and then taking a seat.

I sighed and did what I needed to do first.

"What's the verse for today?" I smiled when I took the seat on his opposite side and waited for him.

He opened the Bible, turned to the page with a bookmark, and started reading it with his soft voice.

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and hope." my lips parted as I let myself stare at his pretty face, his eyes were focused on reading and his hands are holding the Bible carefully.

I smiled and nodded slowly.

"He sure does," I muttered and when he put his eyes back on me I automatically smiled, making him smile too.

"You okay?" I nodded.

"I am, you?" He nodded slowly but his eyes lingered on me. I knew what he was doing kaya naman tumayo ako to voice his eyes.

"Never been better," I heard him answer as I went back to the kitchen and leaned in on the counter to calm myself. I licked my lips and took a deep breath and closed my eyes.

I am not ready to tell him, I don't know why, I don't know what's the reason, I don't understand it either but for some reason, telling him that will happen next year seems kind of hard to do right now.

It's been a few days since the last time I saw him. They are working a little harder the next few days before Christmas and they need to prepare a lot since their tour will start in January, I just don't want this to be part of the things he needs to think about.

I took a deep breath and preferred a short prayer before continuing with what I needed to do. I started preparing for the hot chocolate we always drink in the morning before coming back to where he was sitting.

"Magce-celebrate ba kayong Christmas magkakasama?" he stared at me the moment I put the mugs in front of us.

"IHmm, I'm not sure but probably yes, we've been doing it for years now, we might visit our own families by the morning on the twenty-four and then will be back to the main house to wait until midnight, kayo?"

"We'll be celebrating it in Papa's house,"

"Kasama si Erreo?" I shook my head and smiled.

"Not really, we used to have him over before he left for the States but not anymore, he visits us the next day though,"

"Pwede sumama sa kanya?" I nodded and chuckled a little bit when he said it like a kid,

"Oo naman, sabay ka na lang sa kanya." I smiled and scrunch my nose.

"Thank you," I swallowed and my eyes stayed on him as he started to drink the hot chocolate I put in front of him.

"The management seems okay with Pev and Scalsky, I feel it's still kinda shaky but they can't do anything about it, turns out, may usapan pala sila ni Scalsky nung una pa lang, he already made a deal with the boss before we even debut as a band," I smiled to myself when he went back to his old routine habang tinutulungan akong mag-prepare sa pastry shop.
