Elsi's POV
It's been a week since I've heard from Thor. I know it's not very long, but he promised to be back after two or three days. He sent Sif back here to keep an eye on everything, but all is peaceful. On Earth, I'm not so sure.
I decide to go talk to Heimdall and see if he can find out what's going on. After grabbing Frigga out of her crib, I make my way to the Bifrost.
"My queen," Heimdall greets me and bows. "What can I aid you with?"
I giggle at being called queen, "Heimdall, I think you already know. I'm worried about Thor."
"Of course, my queen," he does his thing. "The Avengers are battling some type of... machinery? It looks like Man of Iron."
I gasp, "The Avengers are fighting each other?"
"No, no. I am sorry. I was mistaken. Man of Iron is with the Avengers. It is a machine. They were celebrating the win, but I suppose they didn't win. Not yet. They will and Thor will return."
"Are you sure?"
"I'm posit...," he trails off.
"Heimdall? What is it?" I inquire worriedly.
"I... I can't see him," he answers, just as shocked as me.
"What happened? Where could he have gone?"
"I can see him again. I must not have been focusing completely. I'm sorry to have frightened you as I did," he apologizes.
"Heimdall, it's all right. You have an extremely difficult job. Watching over all the realms at once is pretty much impossible. Tell me, do you get bored being in here?" I ask.
"Not really, I like it. I get to help my king and insure war does not outbreak here."
"Heimdall, do you have a family?"
"In my line of duty, I cannot. I do not have time for distractions. I must keep this kingdom safe. Everyone is relying on me."
I nod, a simple sign of understanding. "So, will Frigga have Thor's powers, or will she have any at all?"
"Unfortunately, I do not know. She may take after Thor, or she may take after you. I assume you're like us."
"I am, when Thor and I got married, Loki did a spell so I could have the strength, healing, and lifespan of an Asgardian. I think Frigga should be full Asgardian, right?" I ask Heimdall.
"Yes, she should. Also, given her family, she should have special abilities. The only exception is that you do not have any. Now, let me hold the princess," he holds out his arms and I hand her to him.
Frigga may be Asgardian, but she's curious like any Midgardian baby I've met. She's amazed by Heimdall's armor and touches his helmet. He grins and kisses her tiny hand.
"She's beautiful, just like her mother and grandmother. Although, I believe she's will look like Thor once she gets older," he predicts.
"What gives it away? The blonde hair or the bright blue eyes?"
"You have darker features. Darker hair and eyes. But, she is still a babe. Sometimes they change. Maybe she will look like you."
