For as long as you can remember, you yearned for physical and emotional bonds way past friendship. Romance is something that you have not yet experienced to the fullest due to your present obligations. You're a nostalgic grown adult and a "hopeless romantic" who works alongside the strongest Jujutsu Sorcerer to ever exist in the modern era as a teacher in the Jujutsu Tech High School in Tokyo, Japan. You teach the youth with the potential to become great sorcerers, train them, and see them grow.

It's a repeating cycle: wake up at 7:00 AM, shower, eat, get dressed, teach, spar, tolerate your work partner's insufferable (?) personality, carry out Grade 2 to Semi-Grade 1 curse execution missions in neighboring cities like Shibuya or Kyoto, and return to your designated dormitory/office within the building at precisely 10:00 PM. This routine has become the most dreaded thing in your life as a Jujutsu Sorcerer nearing the Second to Semi-Grade 1 rank. Yet you do not dare to complain to the Higher-Ups or anyone. You do what you're told, which usually ends up better than the scenarios in your head.

Recently, going through your daily life as a sorcerer has been getting harder and harder. You thought it couldn't get worse until you started developing coughs and fevers more often than you could imagine. Yet you didn't complain to anyone, like Shoko, the resident doctor capable of curing just about anything, or Yaga, the school's principal. You didn't even bother speaking to your work colleague about it. Besides, you two have your things to do, right? You powered through everything seemingly with ease, but behind the scenes, you coughed out your lungs and held your chest tightly. Breathing has gotten more complex. You must have gotten some cold, but from who is the question? And was there anyone sick recently? You never caught on to that detail.

You dismissed your pain as something that would heal on its own, and you carried on with your responsibilities as a sorcerer and teacher, hoping that the ache in your chest would fade away with time. But what happens when you eventually realize your feelings are due to your emotions? Because you're in love? It took several months, almost a year of suffering and crying in your dormitory under the moonlight, for you to realize that the person who was with you every day was your ideal partner and the cause of your emotional pain.

You and Satoru Gojo have a professional relationship at work, but you also spend time together outside work. You enjoyed eating sweets, shopping together, and reminiscing about your youth. Occasionally, you watched movies and had deep conversations that you often replayed in your mind. You quickly fell in love with him but were unsure about his feelings. It had been a mystery and a puzzle you had been trying to solve for many months.

While figuring out Gojo's, you tried to ignore those feelings, but it's grown too large to bear the burden. You love him; you adore him. You find him endearing. His laugh, hair, personality, and everything about him were near perfect. But figuring out how he felt about you was a grueling task nobody could take head-on. It was a tough nut to crack, and it still is. How have you been able to tolerate all of this until now that you've fallen so ill? Emotions are genuinely backstabbers. This wasn't the time to be moping, to think about a future beside him that seemed so distant, yet now it plagued your mind so much that it began to hurt to think, breathe, and see. It hurt to repeat the cycle of seeing him again and again and again.

The pain became so intense that you couldn't leave your room. It started with a day, then two, and before you knew it, three days had passed. A whole week went by; then weeks turned into a month. People knocked on your door, and different voices called out to you, but none belonged to your beloved sorcerer teacher companion. This began to worry many people, including your colleagues Shoko and Nanami and your students Yuuji and Megumi.

It alarmed them so much that Satoru Gojo had finally stopped by.
