Ok so you know how 1/3 is 0.33... and 2/3 is 0.66...? Then, based off of that, 3/3 should be 0.99..., not 1. I know that it's infinit so the gap between that and one is basically nothing, but at the same time it's so GOD DAMN HARD for me to get over the fact that it's infinitely NOT ONE. But thirds can cause problems in jobs, too.
I have family that works as a land surveyor. Basically, he is the guy who plots points before construction can happen (that's the simplest of summaries known to man 😂). That's right, a lawsuit over 0.01 inches of land. It's sounds absurd, although that little sliver can fuck up months work of construction.
