The hideout is eerily quiet, with the rest of the group out running errands. Rose and Bakugo are alone, the tension in the air thick after days of unresolved feelings and suppressed emotions. Rose has had enough—she can't keep pretending, and she's determined to confront Bakugo.
She walks into the training area, her heart racing but her resolve firm. Bakugo is leaning against the wall, his arms crossed, brooding in silence. She knows this conversation won't be easy, but it's time. "We need to talk," she says, her voice steady.
Bakugo barely glances at her, his jaw clenched. "Not this again," he thinks, already dreading where this is going. He stays quiet, hoping she'll drop it, but the look on her face tells him she's not backing down. "What about?" he mutters, even though he knows.
Rose steps closer, her frustration bubbling beneath the surface. "You know what about," she says firmly. "This isn't just about my quirk. I'm tired of pretending that it is."
Bakugo scowls, his fists tightening. "You need my energy. That's all this is. Don't make it something it's not, dammit."
Her chest tightens at his words, anger flaring up inside her. "It's not that simple, Bakugo! I don't want to keep taking your energy without acknowledging what's really happening between us."
Bakugo's frustration snaps, his voice sharp as he steps toward her. "What the hell do you want me to say? You need my energy to keep yourself going. End of fucking story!"
Rose doesn't back down, her emotions finally boiling over. "Stop lying to yourself! This isn't just about my damn quirk, and you know it! You feel it too, don't you?" Her voice rises with intensity, her chest heaving as she glares at him.
Bakugo's eyes flash with something raw—something he's been fighting to keep buried. His anger flares, but it's laced with frustration, not just at her, but at himself. "What if I do?" he snaps, his voice low and dangerous. "What then?"
She takes a step closer, her voice trembling with emotion. "Then stop acting like it's nothing! Stop pretending that every time I take your energy, there's nothing else happening!"
Something in Bakugo snaps at her words. His chest tightens, and before he can stop himself, he grabs her by the wrist and pulls her toward him. His lips crash against hers in a heated, impulsive kiss, raw with frustration and need. The moment feels electric, the tension between them igniting like a fuse.
"Dammit," Bakugo thinks as he kisses her, his mind racing with everything he's been denying for months. He knows this is more than just about his quirk—he can't keep pretending otherwise.
Rose's heart skips a beat as Bakugo kisses her, and for a moment, she's frozen. But the craving for his energy surges through her, and instinctively, she deepens the kiss, placing her hands on his chest. She feels the familiar warmth of his energy pulsing through her, and she drinks it in, her body craving more.
As she takes his energy, the kiss becomes more intense, filled with the unspoken emotions they've both been holding back. Her fingers curl into his shirt, her body pressed against his as she loses herself in the moment. The heat between them is undeniable, the connection they've been avoiding finally coming to the surface.
When they finally pull apart, both of them are breathing heavily, the air between them charged with everything that just happened. Rosalia's cheeks are flushed, her mind spinning as she processes what they've just done.
Bakugo's heart pounds in his chest, his mind still reeling from the intensity of the kiss. He can't believe he lost control like that, but at the same time, he can't deny how right it felt. His fists clench, his voice rough as he tries to collect himself. "This... this doesn't change anything."
Rose's breath catches, her chest still tight from the rush of energy she just took. "It changes everything," she says softly, her voice trembling. "You can't deny it anymore, Bakugo. We both know what this is."
Bakugo stays silent for a long moment, his gaze locked on hers. He knows she's right, but the weight of what this means is overwhelming. Finally, something in him breaks. "I know," he mutters, his voice barely above a whisper. "I've known for a while."
She steps closer, her eyes soft but filled with determination. "Then stop fighting it," she says gently. "We'll figure it out. Together."
Bakugo looks away, his fists still clenched at his sides. He hates feeling vulnerable, but for once, he can't argue with her. "Fine," he mutters, his voice still gruff. "But don't expect me to be good at this."
A small smile tugs atRose's lips, the tension between them finally easing. "I wouldn't expectanything less from you."
