As the Saransh stands at the altar, his heart races and his breath catches when he sees his bride for the first time in her bridal dress, gracefully walking down the aisle.
A mix of emotions washes over him overwhelming love, profound joy, and a touch of nervousness. Her beauty in that moment is ethereal, and he feels a deep sense of gratitude and anticipation for the life they are about to begin together.
Every step Meera takes symbolizes their journey, filling him with an indescribable happiness and the certainty that this is the woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with.
Meera came and stood in front of saransh whose eyes were filled with tears. He just wants to live in the moment. Live in present.
They don't know what future holds for them. They just know that they are together for now.
He grabbed her hand and walked to the aisle.
The aisle was decorated with light purple and white flowers.Standing in the centre of stage wearing dark blue and purple colour lehenga she was breaking all the limits of beauty.
Saransh couldn't take his eyes off of her.
He couldn't believe that he is getting married to the love of his life. He is marrying to the girl who kept him sober in the darkest of night.
"Bro get married, take her home, and stare her until you are satisfied but after the wedding okay? She will be all yours" Rishabh said irritated seeing their staring contest.
Everyone burst out at his comments including Meera and Saransh.
Then priest did some rituals, applied kumkum to their forehead, sprinkle rice on them, did aarti and asked both of them to perform varmala rasam.
Then priest took them to alter to perform actual wedding.
After chanting holy mantras priest asked Saransh to fill her hairline with vermillion.
Then Saransh tied mangalsutra around her neck and pecked her forehead.
When priest asked her parents to do kanyadaan. Meera eyes shot up to her parents and found their eyes filled with tears. This tears were mix of emotions, happiness, sadness, dreams, her childhood memories.
Doing daughter'a kanyadaan is dream of every parents. But what they feel while performing kanyadaan no one can understand except parents who's daughter is getting married.
Meera gestures to her parents to come and perform kanyadaan and they came forward. They tied her veil with Saransh's scarf and did everything as per priest order.
It was time of saat phera when Meera and Saransh stood up. Saransh leads the first few pheras where he was in front and Meera was following him.
Vows made in the presence of the sacred fire are thought to be unbreakable. Every phera and the vow taken during it has a distinct meaning.
It was time when the bride leads the groom in the rest. Fire is the divine witness of holy marriage.
Saransh waited for Meera to come forward but she stood at her place rooted to the ground.
She looked at Saransh and he understood her inner turmoil. Tears made their way down to her cheeks.
"Didn't I said, if you try to deny once again. Then I'll kidnap you and forcibly Marry you"
Saransh said and picked up Meera in his arms bridal style. Meera blushed hard and hide herself in the Crook of his neck.
Her friends and family hooted loudly and cheered for them. Then they completed rest of the pheras with Meera in Saransh's arms.
