Ciel stared at the invitation to Elliot's birthday party. She sighed heavily, wanting to throw the invitation to the fireplace, watch it burn, not attend, and then lie to Elliot's face when he inevitably ask why she didn't attend his party. Probably along the lines of 'I never received my invitation, it was probably lost along the way'

Elliot would be crushed, but she didn't care at this point. She was really not in the mood to see him, put up with his romantics, or any sort of partying.

The young lady walked in the garden, her hand trailing the various flowers planted, a soft humming sound coming from her throat. Three months has passed and she still hasn't told Sebastian how she feels, three months she's been keeping her feelings to herself, sometimes seeking advice from Mey-rin whom she had finally told about her 'situation' with Sebastian. The poor maid when she first found out was flustered but was overall very happy.

The older woman hugged her tightly and eagerly told her she should tell Sebastian her feelings as soon as possible. But that was when Ciel put her foot down. She wasn't even sure Sebastian felt the same way. How does she know he isn't just....toying with her emotions?

He's been flirting and teasing but does that prove anything? Sebastian flirts and compliments other women, what would make his advances to her diffirent?

Grell rather embarrassingly pointed out that since Ciel is a virgin, she should use that to her advantage. "What the bloody hell do you even mean?" She demanded. "Demons are more attracted to virgins when they want to fuck-"

"Don't use such a crude language" Ciel snapped crossing her arms. Grell just ignored her. "Whatever. As I was saying, Demons when they want to fuck a woman or a man, they prefer going after the virgin ones, I don't know why...maybe there's something about their souls and bodies that makes it more tempting for a demon"

"I-I'm not going to offer my virginity to Sebastian like some desperate prostitute!" Ciel yelled turning red.

"I would" Grell winked, causing Ciel to fume.

Ciel still replays their conversation in her mind as she walked in her garden, blushing hotly.

She has seen him topless a few times before, but those were when she was younger, before she held any interest to his well sculpted body.

An image of a topless Sebastian getting dressed flashed in her mind. "Ah! Why is my mind so filthy tonight!?" She pulled on her pigtails in frustration.

"Are you alright my lady?" Came the smooth voice of the very same person she was thinking about. "Bloody hell" she thought, spinning around to see him.

"Ah, yes, perfectly fine" she muttered.

"It didn't seem that way to me" Sebastian countered. For a minute or two, they just stood there in silence, with Ciel looking at everywhere but the man before her. "Sir Elliot's party next week, do you not have any plans on attending?" Sebastian brought up.

"No, I don't feel up for it" Ciel answered.

"I've recently noticed you haven't been up for meeting him or talking to him lately, my lady. Would you like to tell me what's wrong? Or am I prying too much?" There was worry in his voice. Ciel wondered if he was being genuinely concerned for her or just simply curious.

"I've just been...stressed, about other matters. And having Elliot hovering around me doesn't help. I've been distracted lately, you must have noticed, and the reason for that is-" can she tell him the truth? That her mind has been filled with thoughts of him? That her heart beats faster whenever he is by her side?

"Is?" Sebastian's ruby eyes glowed dimly in the dark, they looked beautiful.

Ciel blushed and swallowed.

"Because I've realized I might not love Elliot in the way he expects me to. I don't want to marry Elliot, I never wanted to in the first place, but I could never say it out loud" was what came out of Ciel's mouth. "It's been on my mind for a while now, the fact is, every time I think of myself in a white dress walking towards Elliot it makes me sick in my stomach"

Sebastian refrained a laugh, only allowing himself a small victorious smile. The idiot was never a good match for her anyway.

"Do you perhaps, have someone else in mind young mistress?"

Ciel's blush deepened beautifully. "M-maybe"

"And who might that be?"

Ciel suddenly grew defensive "You're awfully curious tonight"

"And you've been open so far, what a shame I pushed too much" Sebastian sighed. The wind blew a tad harder and a leaf landed on Ciel's head. Sebastian smiled fondly and reached for her hair, removing the little leaf. Despite wearing heels she was still shorter than him, something he knows annoyed her.

"The moon is beautiful, isn't it?" Ciel suddenly brings up.

"Yes. No doubt many couples are out tonight, on a romantic stroll or having dinner together, maybe even dancing under the moonlight" Sebastian said looking up at the moon above them.

"Would you care for a dance young mistress?"

Ciel looked at her butler with surprise in her eyes. "But, there is no music, and I'm only wearing a night gown"

"Doesn't matter, the song of the birds and the sound of the wind can make up for music. So, young mistress, shall we dance?" Sebastian gave her a handsome smile, but it was also...genuine, inviting.

Ciel took his hand and allowed him to pull her body closer to his, his other hand on her waist while his left held hers.

They danced a lovely waltz under the moonlight, with only the birds chirp, wind, and their heartbeats making up for the lack of song.
