Diamond sat ontop of the cliff over the temple gazing out over the waters she watched as they lapped at the shore, those pristine waves had saved her and brought her to Rose Quartz and the other gems; Amethyst, Garnet and Pearl. She hadn't been entierly stable as of recent so the time alone was good for her. Her emotions got the better of her when it came to most situations which lead to her arguing with the young gem know as Pearl. She sighed getting up and watching the rising sun hoping the time alone may of restored some peace to her heart.
A few months had passed and the young gems had grown a bit Diamond's emotions where stabilizing though she refused to spend time with the gems saying she ''wasn't one of them'' which they found was ridicules. Pearl had been spending extra time with Diamond in order to learn new sword techniques they had been learning from each other and their friendship grew a large amount.
After Stevens Birth and Rose's passing none of the gems where really the same. Pearl especialy. Diamond noticed her changes the most and tried helping her as best as she could this mostly being spending the night with her so that she could sleep peacefuly. Diamond and Pearl had become so close over the few years they spent together but they both knew, it wasnt going to end anytime soon. Atleast they hoped so.
