"Oh no,I'm gonna be late!!!!!"I shouted running down the stairs of my new home in America.I grabbed a slice of toast and ran out the house,shouting good bye to my parents.

My name is Amu Hinamori,and I moved to America from Japan two months ago.
Today was my first day of school,and I was nervous.
I didn't know much english even though I've been studying over the summer and I didn't know anyone.
But I had my charas,Ran,Miki and Su and they always encourage me.
When I arrived at my new school,I saw the last of students rushing into the building and to their classes.How am I supposed to know where to go?
"C'use me!"a girl shouted from behind me.I turned around and before I knew it,a girl crashed into me and I hit my butt on the ground."Ow.."I rubbed my head and winced."Ow,Ow,Ow..."the girl muttered sitting up,noticing me."Oh,I'm so,so,so,so sorry!Are you hurt?"she said quietly helping me up."Um..It's ok.I'm fine."I said glancing up at her.She looked at me and seemed to realize I was Japanese from my accent."I-I'm Kimi OreKachi."Kimi said smiling nervously.I sighed,relieved that she was also Japanese like me."A-Amu Hinamori."I said shaking her hand.She glanced at my school uniform."You also used to go to Seiyo academy?"she asked."Y-Yea,you too?"I said surprised.She nodded."Why are you wearing the uniform?"Kimi said."What?Why won't I?The school didn't give me a uniform."I said taking a look at her clothes.Kimi laughed and said,"I guess you don't know.In our school,we don't wear uniforms,we can wear whatever we want,but there's a dress code."
"Eh?"I glanced at my uniform and started to worry."No,you can wear that,it'll just stand out."Kimi reassured."Can you speak english?"she suddenly asked in a different language."Huh?Oh,Um..Y-Yes.A little."I stuttered in English."W-Well,uh..we better get going!You're new right?So us 5th graders go to the auditorium.Then go to class.Come on."Kimi said grabbing my hand.I only understood half of what she was saying as she dragged me into the school building.I saw a bunch of other students the same age as me already sitting in the auditorium talking to their friends.
A teacher was standing at the doorway holding a clip board."U-Um..Excuse me.."Kimi said quietly."Yes?"the teacher looked down at her and I stepped over next to her."I-I'm new here do you know where I should go?"I asked nervously."Oh,um What's your name?"the teacher asked looking at her clipboard again."Amu Hinamori."I answered and she started flipping through papers searching for my name."Ah,Amu Hinamori.You're in class 5-3.Over there."she pointed towards a sign that said 5-3 in the auditorium and there were a few rows of seats in front of it."Thank you."I said."Your welcome.Have a nice first day!"the teacher smiled.I smiled back and walked away with Kimi following behind."OMG,You're in the same class as me,YAY!"she said happily and my face lightened up."Oh,Thank goodness!"I sighed a sigh of relief and smiled again.
