After classes, two boys with red hair suddenly grabbed Druella, pulling her toward a chair. "What the hell?" she demanded, struggling to free herself. The twins, grinning mischievously, placed her down with a flourish.
"Hello there, I'm Fred," said one of the twins, winking at her.
"And I'm George. We hear you're brilliant," the other twin chimed in, his eyes twinkling with amusement.
Druella frowned, her annoyance rising. "What the hell is wrong with you two?" she asked, her patience thinning.
The twins laughed. "Good job slapping Draco," Fred said, still grinning. "That was funny."
Druella sighed, crossing her arms. "We just need your help on something," George continued.
"What the hell do you want?" she snapped, clearly irritated.
"We need you to get detention," Fred explained, his voice light but serious.
Druella raised an eyebrow. "I already have detention for slapping Draco," she said, her tone skeptical.
The twins exchanged a look before George added, "We hope you can find a charm in one of the professors giving detention this week. Do that, and it'll be worth your while."
Druella eyed them both, clearly unimpressed. But despite her irritation, she couldn't resist their challenge. "Alright, I'll do it," she said, smirking slightly. The twins snickered in response.
Later that night, Druella found herself sitting in detention with Harry, her annoyance growing as Gilderoy Lockhart, the narcissistic professor, prattled on about his fan mail. I hate this narcissist, Druella thought, her eyes rolling as she was forced to help him with something so trivial.
"Isn't it nice, serving detention helping me with fan mail?" Lockhart asked cheerfully.
"Well, sure," Druella replied flatly, her gaze fixed on the desk. Lockhart, oblivious to her indifference, walked out, his voice trailing behind him. "I'm going to go ahead and leave to do something. I'll be back soon."
As soon as he was gone, Druella stood up, her frustration mounting. She glanced over at Harry, who was staring at her with a mixture of confusion and concern. "What are you doing?" he whispered, clearly uncertain of her next move.
Druella pressed a finger to her lips, signaling for him to be quiet. Harry looked at her with wide eyes as she made her way toward Lockhart's office.
"What are you doing?" Harry whispered again, trying to get her to stop.
Druella turned to him, her voice blunt. "What do you think?" she replied, her tone unbothered.
"I'm looking for that charm I had to get," she explained, ignoring the wary look on Harry's face. She moved swiftly to Lockhart's desk and scanned the list of charms written on a piece of parchment. Spotting one that matched what she needed, Druella took out her wand and whispered, "Gemini." The charm duplicated, shimmering in the air before solidifying in her hand.
With the charm in hand, Druella quickly returned to her seat, resuming the tedious task of sorting through Lockhart's fan mail. Harry watched her with confusion etched on his face. "What was that?" he asked, his curiosity piqued.
Druella barely had time to answer when Lockhart returned to the room, his presence filling the space with his usual self-importance. Druella smiled, relieved that the detention was almost over.
"What if he finds out?" Harry asked, still uneasy about the whole situation.
Druella rolled her eyes, her confidence unwavering. "I duplicated the spell," she explained, "so he won't find out." She continued with the fan mail, unfazed by the possibility of Lockhart discovering her little secret.
