"Yea" Mia said as she helped Messiah pack up his laptop and other things

Mia's phone buzzed with a text from Cj

Mia remembered that she needed to come up with an excuse for them to not talk for the rest of the night while she was with Messiah. She knew he'd blow her phone down if she just didn't respond for hours.

Mia: Tbh I think I need some time to myself, just for tonight. I haven't talked to Sahara in a week and wanna just be alone to clear my head. I hope you don't think I'm being weird

Mia rolled her eyes at his text. Why did he have to be so difficult she thought to herself .

Mia: Cj can you please just respect this? It's for my mental state.

Mia rolled her eyes and locked her phone. He probably just high right now she thought to herself.

"You ready?" Messiah asked as he threw his book bag on

"Mhm" Mia smirked and nodded

As they walked to the parking deck Messiah couldn't stop looking back at her as she trailed behind him.

"Whatttt" Mia teased

"I just can't believe I'm finna have yo fine ass in my bed" he said smirking

Mia laughed. "I already took a nap in your bed before, remember?" She said

"Yea but you wasn't trynna fuck back then" he said

Mia blushed. "Shut upppp" she chuckled.

Messiah laughed as he unlocked his car doors for them to get inside.

They arrived to Messiahs apartment and Mia looked out the window as they drove up to the 5th floor of the garage. As they drove up, they passed by Cj's car, and Mia felt a knot in her stomach.

"What if we run into him?" She thought to herself. Lord knows what he'd do if he caught her with Messiah. He's a true crash out. She shook the feeling off and tried to relax in the passenger seat.

"You straight?" Messiah interrupted her thoughts

"Mhm" Mia quickly answered with a smile

Messiah finally pulled into his parking space and they made their way inside. As they climbed out, Mia glanced around nervously, half-expecting to see CJ emerge from the stairwell or the elevator. She tried to shake off that feeling, reminding herself that she was here to enjoy Messiah.

They made their way inside Messiahs penthouse. As Mia stepped into the spacious living area, she felt a wave of relief wash over her. She still hadn't gotten over how nice Messiahs place was.

"You hungry?" Messiah asked as he tossed his keys on the kitchen island.

"Kinda, what you got?" She asked

"Not shit. Here." He said handing her his phone. "Order you sum on DoorDash or sum. My card already on Apple Pay " he said before heading upstairs

Mia lightly smiled at him handing her his phone unlocked. This was something she definitely wasn't used to at all. Her nosiness got the best of her. She exited from DoorDash and went to his messages.
