After Catherine left, the servants in Blanchett's mansion were informed that the Young Master had contracted a plague.

The attending physician, who visited urgently after receiving a call, returned with a stiff look on his face after examining the Young Master. Those who saw him assumed that the Young Master's condition was severe.

People wondered if their assumptions were wrong. Then, the Marchioness stopped doing all her work and devoted herself to taking care of his son.

Three days had passed since the Marchioness and Young Master left the room.

"Jane, deliver the meal for the Lady and the Young Master."

Moreover, the butler strictly restricted access to the upper floors where the Young Master's room was located. People who were allowed access were Jane and the maids.

"Yes, Sir butler."

Jane answered before taking the tray filled with a meal for the Lady and the Young Master.

"Jane, would you like my help?"

Hans asked when he came to help around the kitchen for a while.

"Thanks for the offer, but no need to. Sir Butler limited the number of people who can come to the upper floor."

"But, it will be hard to carry it all by yourself."

Hans glanced at the food in Jane's hands while saying so. The amount of food seemed quite too much for the Marchioness and the Young Master to eat by themselves.

"I'm fine, the maids will come down to help soon. You don't have to worry about this."

"Really? That's a relief to hear."

Hans answered and drank water from the glass.

"But how is the Young Master's condition? Is it that bad?"

'Why are you so interested?'

Jane looked Hans up and down, who kept talking to her. She wondered why he seemed so interested.

Her eyes were almost narrowed in doubt, but she managed to control her expression. Although she thought there was no way Hans could do that, she didn't know either

"The Young Master's still sick. It's a big problem because the Lady doesn't even sleep while taking care of him."

Jane recited as she was told. She scanned the bread and soup in case he caught her act.

"I see... I hope the Young Master get well in no time."

The maid came and Hans encouraged her before leaving.

Jane and the maids went to the upper floor with the meal. They were conscious in their action while going upstairs.

Knock, knock.

"I'm coming in, My Lady."

They entered after politely knocking on the door.

However, they couldn't feel the masters' presence in the room they went into. There was just a bulge on the bed. The maid walked to the corner of the room without sparing the bed a glance. Then, she opened the hidden door, which revealed a small room.

"Please enjoy the meal, Sir."

It was Aiden and the knights of Blanchett.

Jane put the meal in front of them. The portion seemed a lot to be said for the Marchioness and the Young Master, but such an amount was small upon being served to the four knights.

"I'm sorry, I tried to bring as much food as possible,"

Jane said while taking out the bread she had hidden in the pocket of her apron. Her eyebrows narrowed in remorse.
