ENEMIES TO LOVER

CHAPTER 5

After the fight, Ezra took her back to the building and continued the fight and won. Lily was in his team room with her friend, trying to calm herself down from the encounter before.

Ezra finished the match and went to his room to take a bath. When he was finished, he went to Lily to check on her, even though he didn't really care much. "Hey, are you okay?" he asked while checking her condition. Lily just nodded in response while Aaraya continued to caress Lily's back to give her comfort.

Ezra sighed and gave Lily a bottle of water for her to drink and calm herself down. Lily took the bottle and drank.

Ezra's mom's POV:

Ezra's mom, aka Yuri, stood in the corner of the door looking at Ezra as he helped Lily. She couldn't help but smile. It was the first time in years she had seen Ezra care for someone this much. Yuri looked over Lily, examining her appearance. In Yuri's eyes, Lily was a beautiful and tough girl.

Lily was still a bit shocked from the experience she had. She took a deep breath and said, "Thank you, Ezra, for the help." Ezra just nodded before he left the room.

THE NEXT DAY AT SCHOOL

Lily was in class as usual, playing and chatting with Aaraya. Ezra came into the class and walked over to Lily, giving her the jacket she had left. "Hey, you left your jacket. Here," Ezra said as he threw the jacket at her face.

"Hey?! You don't have to throw my jacket like that, you brat," Lily said with frustration. Ezra looked at her, then walked away to his seat while giving her his middle finger. Lily saw that and gave him her middle finger too before she went back to talk to Aaraya. Aaraya, on the other side, smirked and nudged Lily's shoulder. "Ooh, I see someone already has a love life," she said. Lily rolled her eyes and said, "As if, even though he saved me, it doesn't mean he isn't a bastard and ignorant."

Ezra looked over at Lily without her noticing, admiring her beautiful features before snapping out of his thoughts. "What the hell... why am I thinking she's beautiful... ugh, this thought gives me a headache."

Aaraya, who noticed Ezra's gaze, smirked, knowing that there would be a rollercoaster in Lily's life in the future. Lily, seeing Aaraya's smirk, was confused. "Why does she look like that?... suspicious," Lily thought. When the teacher came in, all the students in class immediately went silent and focused on the teacher's lecture.
